Why is @GivingTuesday so important to a small non-profit organization like ours? One reason is because of the looming 40% cut to our VOCA grant programs. We rely on this funding to run our most important programs and the effects of these cuts will be devastating.

Since 2009, over 3,600 NJ police officers have attended our PREP trainings. They come back because we offer a victim-impact perspective to DV that empowers them to assist victims effectively.

Did you know that domestic violence impacts 1 in 4 women, 1 in 14 men, and 1 in 4 LGBTQ+ individuals? Hollywood must be cognizant when making films about these important issues and realize that there will be real survivors impacted by their storytelling.

Now, more than ever, we need to bring attention to the issue of domestic violence if we are ever going to break the cycle. A Partnership For Change provides education and awareness to communities in NJ on domestic violence/dating abuse.
