@WildKat1967@YungGiamatti Ha! I used to work there when I was 13! Myself and several of my friends were hired (under the table) as pin setters for miniature bowling.
My wife and I did this. Graduated college in 98; made $70k between the two of us. Worked in Milwaukee, but couldn’t afford a house there or in Madison. Bought a great starter house in Janesville, WI. I commuted until I got a job with Grainger.
The woe is me comments are pretty disappointing.
Cheap housing, high paying jobs, a great place to live. Pick any two.
Boomers and Gen X moved an hour away from our jobs bc we couldn’t afford the ones near the jobs either.
There are < $200k houses all over America. You can still do this.
It seems people today would rather complain than solve their problem. 🙄

I’ve been to a lot of minor league games at all different levels, but I finally made it to my first AAA game last year in Vegas.
I was shocked at how low the level of play is. I mean, it’s just one level from the Majors, so they must be close, right?
Wrong. Night & day.
@WomanDefiner Been seeing this around our lake (Lake Minnewawa) in Aitkin County MN for a couple of years now. Lots of boats, jet skis, trucks, and snowmobiles for sale. So much for sale.
@MShadows17 They did the same thing with Anthony Seigler last year. No matter how bad he was, they just kept playing him.
I know Rengifo is under contract, and they’d have to eat $3.5 mil. But enough is enough. Especially when we have guys at AAA who deserve a shot.
