We hope you enjoyed the first 21 Social Sustainability Tips. We will bring back our campaign once Covid-19 is no longer a threat. For now we will focus on Social Distancing and bringing you local resources from our members.
Day 21! Plan a company potluck! This is a fun way to take a break from work and encourage team bonding. It also takes the pressure off of the company and encourages employee involvement. Potlucks can be company wide or narrowed down to departments. #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 20! Bring in local food trucks for lunch! What better way to show employees your appreciation than by providing a social hour where people can connect over lunch. Bringing in local food trucks supports sustainability within your community as well! #SocialSustainabilityMonth
A bill that would have established a statewide Office of #Resiliency and a statewide #SeaLevelRise Task Force was 1 of 100s of proposals that quietly died this legislative session as the #coronavirus and #COVID19 dominated headlines. Story at @WJCTJax:

Day 19! Add your staff to your website! Consider putting a fair number of your employees on your website and let them write their own bios! This allows your company to show off its incredible team members while promoting personability online. #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 18! Celebrate employees by giving them a company branded reusable water bottle. This greatly reduces the amount of plastic being disposed of and is a great way to market your company. Say thank you to employees with some well deserved merch! #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 17! Reward and acknowledge employees that have reached their sustainability goals within the past two weeks of this celebratory month! These goals are a very important contributor in promoting the everyday actions that reduce ecological footprints. #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 16! Provide personal growth & sustainability workshop days monthly. Host several workshops throughout the day that employees can drop into depending on their schedules. Having multiple workshops during the day allows for greater staff participation! #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 14! Provide an employee feedback platform! Give your employees an anonymous way to give feedback on everyday practices, company culture, sustainability programs and anything else needing attention. #SocialSustainabilityMonth#USGCC
Day 13! Provide a healthy breakfast once a quarter! This shows company wide support for those who have to commute daily & don't have time to eat breakfast. It also gives your company a way to connect with local businesses & support employee health. #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 12! Send someone from your team to an environmental conference! Have them provide a report or give a presentation to their team. This is a fun way to educate the company on sustainability initiatives and personalize social sustainability month! #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 10! Giving back to your employees this month can be as easy as encouraging them to receive certifications from organizations promoting sustainability. Certifications are great resume builders and educational tools! #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 9! Networking events can be a great way to incorporate the conversation of sustainability! Planning a networking event at a fun location (local park, beach, etc) gets employees out of the office and offers a fresh space to grow their connections. #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 7! A Learn-in Luncheon encourages employees to engage in meaningful conversations about current events/topics and offers a safe platform for all different perspectives. It also allows employees to get to know each other better outside of the office. #SocialSustainabilityMonth
Day 6! Treat your employees to a paid day off where they are able to volunteer wherever they want! This promotes a spirit of giving back and highlights the importance of getting involved with your community. #SocialSustainabilityMonth#USGCC#EmployeeAppreciation
