@ArmitageDW Yup. I figured this out last minute only after I had applied. Lucky for me, I was already local to Berkeley(ish) & working on the hill (LBNL) so was able to physically stalk professors I was interested in when I didn't receive a reply (dropped in on their classes/office hours)

Last day of the Pigeon Grand Nationals! I've been fixated on attending this gathering of pigeon fanciers ever since @MikeDShapiro described it at Evo-Devo in Calgary and then learning that my dad used to raise and fly Racing Homers (like this beauty!)
