The number factor (in my opinion) that affects the share price at earnings……Guidance. It’s the one bit of info most of us don’t know. It will bite you if you’re not conscious….. earnings season in full swing.

@markminervini I agree 100% though the volatility is juicy and the set ups are low lying. Yes, I got stung a few times, thankfully I’m a quick study!

I would describe trading in 2021 in two words.. no legs. Some stocks made nice moves. But on balance, breakouts failed to follow through to the upside. If you weren't quick to take profits and even quicker to take your losses, it was a tough year to compound your money in stocks.

@Thoughts_NJ I somewhat agree but could argue that you’re better off hitting basehits as opposed to home runs. But for now, big plays are more fun and turbulent market conditions make the grand slams seemingly (🤡) seem like juicy low lying fruit…. Swing big!! Play defensive!!!
