We opened the doors of the mosque a week after protesters came outside, and we invited them to come and talk with us.

The event went amazingly well, some of those who protested were here, in addition to many other curios members of our society.

We were asked tough questions about women's rights, the Prophet's ﷺ wives, and sharia law amongst many other topics and we gave honest answers.

We made many new friends and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Mark shared the message for a protest in Liverpool city centre, driven by misinformation that led him and many well-meaning individuals to join a cause that, unfortunately, was infiltrated by those who incited violence and chaos. This resulted in damage to our beautiful city and created a situation where some good protesters were associated with the actions of a few troublemakers. Mark would like to express his sincere message to the entire Muslim community.
