@fragrantpear1 @trapa_fars @zhengchu yeah this is a more accurate summary

[app app @appapp58239]

@RysKeren @Even23636727 @grcesacha5ypn @Bibilibibdu @SabRaconte So even when Mbappe only referred to him as the Chinese dictator would be mistreated as an insult. Though most Chinese netizens haven't really seen the original clip, because the Mao meme and "Chinese dictator" aren't goin pass censorship. Which, deepens the misunderstanding. 2/2

[app app @appapp58239]

@RysKeren @Even23636727 @grcesacha5ypn @Bibilibibdu @SabRaconte The Bridge added the Mao meme in the final released clip. and for the hostility, a lot of Chinese people really find criticizing Mao as "Nothing but a dictator" insulting, be it education or something else, that's what it is. 1/2

[app app @appapp58239]

@SabRaconte China is definitely more open than what you described but the underlying tension is real

[app app @appapp58239]

[app app @appapp58239]

@StaracBlabla @iimopay @Furinanatw calling mao zedong a dictator almost certainly couldn't pass platform censorship

[app app @appapp58239]

@Ghayylxvl

[app app @appapp58239]

@Guicciardini2 @muellmanfred China actually has a huge underground vpn market, those vpns are specifically designed to bypass the firewall

[app app @appapp58239]

@Guicciardini2 @muellmanfred Oh so that's why, I'm biologically male

[app app @appapp58239]

[app app @appapp58239]

@Guicciardini2 @muellmanfred What are you talking about, I'm not a femboy, and 意 is not remotely close to "penis". If you just joking you can just tell me, why the hostility

[app app @appapp58239]

[app app @appapp58239]

[app app @appapp58239]

@Guicciardini2 @muellmanfred not quite, 意大利 is a transliteration

[app app @appapp58239]

@muellmanfred true but the characters are most likely an coincidence

[app app @appapp58239]

@ozan559 Which is true

[app app @appapp58239]

[app app @appapp58239]

[app app @appapp58239]

@agraybee They actually don't know too much about democratic constraints though
