Huh, this was a long one :) Hope you enjoyed give me a like comment and follow @raares
had no idea @cysic_xyz $CYS was this deep into zk hardware
thought they were another infra team doing zk acceleration
turns out they're building custom chips, GPU stacks and even a zk dev platform that doesn't need you to touch CUDA (a way to run heavy math fast on NVIDIA GPUs)
all focused on one thing:
making proof generation faster, cheaper, and plug-and-play for any zk project.
🧵👇 i've explored:
→ what cysic is tackling
→ zero-knowledge proofs explained simple
→ how proof generation works
→ what the network layer adds
→ hardware: from GPUs to custom ASICs
→ inside cysic's hardware stack
→ incentives & dual-token model
▫️ what cysic is tackling
cysic is built for one thing: making zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) faster, cheaper, and more scalable
the pain is well known - zk tech is powerful but slow
generating proofs means doing complex math:
exponentiations, polynomial multiplications, data shuffling - all heavy, all compute-bound
the zk ecosystem lacks a reliable, performant, decentralized proving layer
that's what cysic wants to be
they're building not only chips and hardware but a full-blown network protocol that others can plug into
▫️ zero-knowledge proofs, explained simple
imagine you're trying to prove you know a secret, w/o actually saying what the secret is
that's what zero-knowledge proofs (zkp) do
they let you prove something is true, w/o revealing the why.
it's like showing you can solve a sudoku w/o showing the solution.
in crypto, this means proving a tx is valid w/o exposing how much you sent or to whom.
zkp use math tricks to convince others w/o sharing the details.
it's all about trustless privacy - no need to reveal info, no need to believe anyone blindly.
▫️ how proof generation works
they define 2 types of tasks:
• normal proof task → where zk projects assign computation jobs
• aggregated proof task → where many smaller proofs get bundled & settled on chain (e.g. Ethereum)
cysic's flow starts with a zk project triggering a smart contract.
eligible provers (selected via verifiable random functions, kind of like a zk lottery) compete to complete the proof.
fastest ones get to post it on-chain. then verifiers (lightweight nodes) confirm its validity - at least 6 approvals mark it final.
▫️ what the network layer adds
on the network side, it's a cosmos-sdk chain using CometBFT (byzantine fault tolerant consensus).
cysic injects its own twist called Proof-of-Compute (PoC). it mixes Proof-of-Stake w/ actual compute work.
the more computing tasks you complete (as prover or verifier), the more "Computing Governance" (CG) credits you get
these can be delegated like stake and count toward validator weight.
it's a hybrid model designed to align governance with real contribution.
they also decouple verification from eth to save gas.
zk proofs get verified off-chain, aggregated, and only the batch lands on Ethereum. this cuts latency & fees.
▫️ hardware: from GPUs to custom ASICs
their infra spans GPU, CPU and custom ASICs
most zk proving happens today on GPUs.
cysic's approach is different - they're making purpose-built chips called C1 that can do things like 1.31M Keccak proofs/sec. that's a big deal since keccak is notoriously slow in zk circuits
they also propose a universal zk intermediate format (Hypercube IR) so different proving systems can easily port to their chips - similar to what TorchScript does for AI models.
▫️ inside cysic's hardware stack
they've got custom chips for real-time zk proving and GPU stacks for devs who need speed now.
their chip Cysic C1 uses something called Hypercube IR to run zk circuits in parallel much faster than usual.
2 products are planned for 2025:
ZK Air (portable) and ZK Pro (full-performance rig).
for those using GPUs, their stack ZKPoG speeds up proving by 52x and auto-generates all CUDA code.
• ZK Chip: core silicon for fast zk proving
• ZK Air: small, plug-and-play accelerator
• ZK Pro: full-power zk workstation
• ZKPoG: GPU stack, 52x faster, no CUDA needed
• Hypercube IR: makes zk circuits run in parallel for better performance
▫️ incentives & dual-token model
cysic runs on 2 tokens:
• $CYS → used for fees, rewards, block production
• $CGT (governance, non-transferable) → earned by staking $CYS or doing compute work
provers, verifiers and validators all earn rewards from block emissions and project payments.
token allocation is split like this:
• 10% to community & early contributors
• 33% to team/investors
• 30% treasury for long-term contributor rewards
• 27% to the foundation for ops & governance
cysic is basically building a giant shared computer for zero-knowledge proofs.
instead of every project struggling w/ expensive hardware and slow math, they can tap into cysic's network and get it done faster and cheaper.
it's all about helping zk projects prove things privately, w/o needing to reveal the details.
simple idea, big impact - if enough real workloads show up, this could be the backbone zk has been missing

@ZelenskyyUa@Keir_Starmer If all Americans and the people who believe in you could donate at least $20, wouldn’t that solve the problem of guns and the addiction to Trump’s communism?
Big promises, but what's the reality?
Digital fragmentation is a problem everyone talks about.
Some platforms make it worse, not better.
@Moca_Network $MOCA claims they’re fixing it
Does it actually work, or they're riding just another narrative? — a thread 🧵
But how and how? — a thread 🧵
You'll level up on:
➙ What is Mocaverse
➙ Moca 3.0
➙ Moca ID (+ how to get one)
➙ Moca NFT
➙ Mocana
➙ $MOCA
Let's get it started!
— ▫️— What is Mocaverse
Mocaverse is a digital infra stack connecting gaming, music, sports & digital IPs.
It’s designed to bring various cultural economies into one interoperable web3 environment.
Mocaverse is developed by well known digital entertainer @animocabrands
They raised in total $31M in funding.
— ▫️ Moca 3.0
The problem: digital fragmentation
web2 & web3 users are juggling multiple accounts, fragmented data and missed rewards.
The solution: Moca 3.0
• users own and monetize their data
• unified identity and aggregated rewards
• open networks and connected ecosystems
Here's how the team explained it:
➙ @Optimism OP stack fixes fragmentation at the tx level
➙ @LayerZero_Core tackles fragmentation at the asset/data level
➙ Moca 3.0? It solves fragmentation at the user level
💡 One Account, One Identity, One Reputation
—▫️— Moca ID
Moca ID is part of the Mocaverse ecosystem.
Moca ID is a decentralized identity (DID) system built for access across Animoca Brands’ ecosystem.
It connects +450 portfolio companies & partner networks.
Key features
• on-chain identity for interacting w/ multiple products & services
• earns realm points (RP) to boost reputation & unlock exclusive benefits
• connects your reputation across web3 for more opportunities
❓How to get a Moca ID
1. own a Moca NFT: each NFT provides an invite code and 3 friend codes
2. participate in giveaways: follow Mocaverse social channels for a chance
3. referrals: get a friend code from an existing Moca ID holder
— ▫️— Moca NFT
There are 8,888 unique characters, called Mocas.
Each Moca belongs to 1 of 5 tribes, each w/ a unique role.
💡 Benefits
• access to exclusive events, masterclasses & in-game asset drops
• participate in realms within Mocana, earning realm points to boost contributions
https://t.co/rSUczVUaXP
— ▫️— Mocana
Mocana is the central hub of the Mocaverse.
This is where you can engage w/ curated experiences across gaming, sports, music & digital IP.
It's structured around 4 realms:
• learn
• play
• build
• do good
This is also the place where you earn realm points — RP.
RP unlocks benefits like event access, exclusive content & decision making
