In the week of the #GreyhoundDerby, Rebecca Perkins, professional greyhound trainer @OwlertonStadium has been jailed for 36 weeks and given a lifetime ban on keeping animals after admitting two counts of animal cruelty and one count of animal suffering. It’s been stated that by the time @GreyhoundBoard inspected the kennels, greyhounds had already died and some were later PTS. Others were taken to rescue.
