You should be careful about listening to exiles and assuming that their views are in common with the people inside the country. Many exiles were close to the Shah but do you think that the average Iranian wants him back?

@BobSummerwill The only time I travelled to the US this century was when forced to on business. The kind of people who end up in power puts me off.

Kind of a shame really because there is a lot that I like in the U.S. including most of the people.
