The Polaris Dawn spacewalk is now complete, marking the first time commercial astronauts have completed a spacewalk from a commercial spacecraft! Congratulations to @rookisaacman, @Gillis_SarahE, @KiddPoteet, @annawmenon, and to all the SpaceX teams!
Our daily quarantine routine includes running around LC-39A—where so many historic missions launched. Yesterday, we checked in on our booster, 2nd stage & Dragon. We also signed our flight-proven hardware—a cool experience unique to @SpaceX’s reusable tech. Without it, missions like @PolarisProgram wouldn’t be possible.
Launch update🚀We are GO for tomorrow's launch attempt for the 'PREFIRE and Ice' mission for @NASA, our second launch for the PREFIRE mission to monitor Earth's heat loss from the world's coldest regions.
Launch window opens NET:

We are in the process of updating our severe potential graphic, but want to share this ASAP. A dangerous atmospheric environment will be present today and there is now a HIGH risk for multiple tornadoes over north-central and into central OK. Plan now!

The first U.S. commercial robotic launch to the Moon successfully lifted off Jan. 8 on the first flight of @ULALaunch’s #VulcanRocket. @Astrobotic’s Peregrine Mission 1 lander is expected to reach the lunar surface in February: https://t.co/csvx73ZqgP
All systems and weather are looking good for this morning’s Falcon 9 launch of @SemperCitiusSDA's second Tranche 0 mission to low-Earth orbit from SLC-4E in California → https://t.co/bJFjLCiTbK
The Moon is doing the most: It's a Super Blue Moon!
So-called "super" because it's slightly closer to Earth and "blue" because it's the second full moon in a month. It peaks at 9:36pm ET on Aug. 30 (0136 UTC on Aug. 31).

Real exciting @EAA w/the @PolarisProgram team. We introduced a new jet team - Ghost Squadron. Goal is to fly a few airshows + some commercial R&D work. It takes a big team to pull off an 8-ship at the busiest airshow in the country. Thankful to all that contributed. If you are interested in aviation, drop a question in comments & I will try to answer.
