@tam2 If you have any specific gripes/ideas, please share and I’ll do my best to accommodate. Although I genuinely believe v2 levels up the UI/UX, I also accept that it can be more customisable to enable a more stripped down aesthetic by disabling features and adjusting behaviours.
@tam2 I’m going to add more settings to give you more control over the experience. For example, I plan to add a setting so you can hide the Next 48 chart in the Hourly screen. And another do that the temperature values all appear under each other in the right-edge. Etc.
Big favour to anyone reading this: please leave a written review of the app if you can. We really need to get the rating back up, and by quite a lot. It will make a BIG difference to our downloads (future). Thank you for your attention 🙏
@Developerrr_ Thanks for giving it another chance. Whatever you decide to do next, it feels good despite your understandable opening position, you’ve come out positive about where the app is finally at today. It will keep getting better too :) Hope you officially join the ride at some point!
@Developerrr_ So, I’m curious what is still missing/so different that continues to put you off the app. If you can answer, this would be super helpful. If you can’t be bothered, I understand. Regardless, thanks for taking the time already to share your feelings. I really appreciate that.
@Developerrr_ More importantly, if you care to clarify, I would love to know what about the update you’re not happy with. I have pushed out 1-3 updates every week over the last 2 months to address feedback from existing users. From reactions so far, I think I’ve restored their faith.
If you’re one of the remaining many who has stayed loyal over the years, please know that today wouldn’t have been possible without your continued support ❤️ And for those of you who have understandably moved elsewhere, I’ll be working very hard for a second chance 💪
Version 2.0 is now available to test 🙌 Sign up to join the beta via this link https://t.co/OzJRDV8lWv. This is a BIG update. I’m sorry it took as long as it did, but I hope you’ll at least agree the delayed reveal wasn’t underwhelming and didn’t disappoint.
This is a true 2.0, re-built from the ground up, to ensure the app doesn’t just stick around — like it has been — but continues to get better and has its best years ahead. You can read more about the update and the future here: https://t.co/nIPy8tPDjz.
To my Chinese, German, Dutch, French Italian, Polish or Spanish speaking followers: if you can help with the translation of Appy Weather 2, then please let me know 💛
P.S. not long now ;)
