Gorgeous memoir about a strained mother daughter relationship that repairs in time for her mother to die from cancer. Beautiful and tragic, touches on grief in a tangible way. Also it’s all about food & made me so hungry!

Okay so in 2022 I read 25 out of my goal of 48 books. My goal this year is to read 35 books. And to use the library more often. Last year, I did not count the manga and graphic novels I read. Should I count them towards my goal this year?
