@Jewell70648622 @ellievhall Furthermore, we do say “Merry Christmas” to wish someone (another Christian) well wishes during the season. But “Happy Holidays” is considered more inclusive to those who celebrate other holidays in December such as Kwanza or Hanukkah.

@Jewell70648622 @ellievhall In the states, we don’t use “holiday” to mean time off work or time traveling. We don’t say we’re “on holiday.” We say we’re “on vacation”. Therefore, they are not commenting on time off, but instead just sending well wishes for the season.
