There is a big difference between what people say and what they actually do. Do people really do what they say ? Does it happen only once, or does it happen repeatedly ? Is this something that happens only to you, or do you notice it among the people around you as well ?
You don't have to be good at anything, just be good at interviews, other than nothing matters. Mug up things if needed. The tag and brand you get by this can justify everything else.
