APTOS’ LATEST PARTNERSHIP & WHY IT MATTERS

The facts…

- @Aptos_Network today announced a partnership with Seoul Land - a leading South Korean amusement park and media group.

- Technically, @AptosLabs is joining forces with RXMeta, which is a digitally-focused subsidiary of Seoul Land, and the aim of the partnership is geared toward increasing the degree of engagement that consumers can access in both online and IRL experiences.

- Tangibly, however, RXMeta will be building an all-new festival and performance platform, using the #Aptos blockchain as its exclusive foundation.

- Named “Bloom”, the platform will see RXMeta offer various services including NFT ticketing, and memberships, with the ultimate aim of expanding the Seoul Land Universe through various other local and international partnerships.

"Through this integration with Aptos, we will be able to expand Seoul Land into a global cultural platform by building a Web3 presence and membership service that allows users to experience K-content anywhere in the world" ~ said RXMeta

- The partnership should see both K-content and the Aptos ecosystem proliferate on a global scale, whilst also providing the end-user with a superior and more accessible form of engagement.

Why it matters…

- First of all, Seoul Land’s decision to choose #AptosNetwork, such a young blockchain, as its exclusive partner seems to imply a high degree of faith in the future of the ecosystem - something that many Aptos-maxis may draw encouragement from.

- But what’s especially exciting is the potential for this partnership to further boost adoption in a jurisdiction that is already well ahead in terms of Web3 acceptance, and wider technological innovation.

- The partnership could also signal a growing interest from traditional IRL entertainment companies in Web3 more broadly…

- … As human life becomes increasingly digitally-oriented, it will likely be the organizations that respond to this shift by embracing novel technologies - like Web3 - that are able to thrive.
