@TakeThatClouds I grew up under several major flight routes. Neat to see aircraft flying through airmass changes, and their effect on contrails. Had a geography teacher (former flight svc meteo) explained it with Skew-T plots.

@PHealthGnome Until the genotype is sequenced it's speculation. I suspect an avian source. HPAI is active in BC at the moment and in the Health Region.
It would be concerning if there is another transmission vector emerging.
