🚨 DAO Proposal 14 is LIVE on InterLink DAO: Introducing a $ITLG Recovery Burning Mechanism

Burning has been one of InterLink strongest economic and security mechanisms. But as the Human Network grows toward global adoption, an important question emerges: Should long-term contribution allow a second chance?

• Second chance through commitment
Short-term inactivity shouldn’t erase long-term contribution. Recovery allows returning users to re-enter only by staying consistently active.

• High standards, not lower ones
Recovery doesn’t remove discipline. Burned $ITLG can only be regained through sustained mining streaks — effort is still required.

• An open and scalable network
Without recovery, the network risks becoming closed over time. Recovery keeps InterLink inclusive and aligned with the vision of 1B Human Nodes.

• Healthier long-term distribution
Recovery spreads opportunity through behavior, not inflation, protecting scarcity while preventing excessive concentration.

✨What our Proposal 14 brings:
This proposal does not weaken or change the existing burning mechanism. Instead, it adds an earned recovery layer built entirely on future contribution.

📌 How the recovery mechanism works:

▶️Streak-based recovery
Every 4 consecutive mining sessions unlock one recovery step, allowing a user to restore the earliest burned cycle. Maintaining longer streaks unlocks higher recovery levels - 8 sessions for the next burn cycle, 12 sessions for the next - until all burned $ITLG is fully recovered.

▶️Referral recovery is tied to real recovery
If a downline account (F2) is fully burned, referral rewards for F1 and F0 are removed. Once F2 fully recovers their burned $ITLG through streaks, the corresponding referral rewards for F1 and F0 are restored proportionally - ensuring fairness across the referral graph.

▶️Normal mining continues in parallel
Regular mining is unchanged. The recovery mechanism runs alongside normal mining, not as a replacement. Recovery is earned purely through future activity, not shortcuts or exceptions.
