BREAKING: Today, Azerbaijan arrested two former presidents of the Artsakh Republic: Bako Sahakyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, and Speaker of Artsakh Parliament Davit Ishkhanyan.

Arkadi Ghukasyan served as the president of the Republic of Artsakh from 1997 to 2007, followed by Bako Sahakyan, who held the presidency from 2007 to 2020. Davit Ishkhanyan was elected Speaker of the parliament in August 2023.

At this moment, it is known that Azerbaijan's NSS has unlawfully detained seven Armenian citizens, preventing them from being displaced to Armenia. The detained individuals are Ruben Vardanyan, Davit Manukyan, Levon Mnatsakanyan, Davit Babayan, Bako Sahakyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan and Davit Ishkhanyan.

BREAKING: Azerbaijan just confirmed that they have illegally detained former Artsakh President, Arayik Harutyunyan, bringing the total of confirmed Artakh officials being illegally tried in Baku to eight.

Arayik Harutyunyan served as Artsakh President from 2020 to September 2023.
