Obviously prices would go further down with time, but to me this price alone is pretty good for starters. We must also remember that it takes insane INSANE amount of money to simply R&D such a product. That cost would obviously be spread over the devices.

Honestly $3499 for such a device is cheap.

For perspective, the F35 uses a similar helmet for its pilots and they cost $400,000!

The Vision Pro is literally the most advanced engineered personal device on the planet with advances from all fields of technology in one package.

$3499 for consumers is obviously on the higher side, but for professionals this is a steal for what you are getting - if it all works as advertised.

Like I said, for similar technology until now one would have to shell out much larger sums of money for a much poorer product.

OMG I hope Vision Pro is as seamless as shown and without fatigue. Modern engineering is absolutely remarkable.

Few people comprehend the ridiculous difficulty and complexity in making a product like this!

To top that, air is insanely difficult to solve with technology. Policy is the biggest weapon here.
