@AudGee122 And here is a book that the protagonist carries around and the characters constantly reference:

@AudGee122 OK but my current obsession is Metaphor, a game by the Persona people. Its fantasy world map looks like this:

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@druidcraft101 Rise is rancid, Chie is chosen

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@cdobbs7 Not engaging in commerce?

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 This post is really funny cuz the pic is from the opening for Mystery Incorporated, the one Scooby Doo show REALLY invested in Fred’s character and growth. I’d argue he’s the main character of that show

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 “Somehow, RDJ has returned”

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 This has big Rise of Skywalker board room meeting energy. “They hated the new stuff QUICK BRING BACK THE CLASSIC SHIT WHO CARES IF IT MAKES SENSE”

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 I’m currently learning game dev and seeing those again was like a jumpscare

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@druidcraft101 @muqings_ Eat it

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@cdobbs7 Sounds like we’ve got a new contender for November. Commander-in-leaf

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 True nerds play DnD on their phone while alone in a theater

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 Those are basically the same game anyways

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 This is a good take. Though Arcane releasing episodes in 3 episode chunks based on rising/falling action is also a good system. If you just watch Arcane episode 1 you would be forgiven for thinking it’s just a generic game tie-in show but by episode 3 everything swerves hard

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 Hooe and Fear…where have I heard something similar to that before….

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@frogsoblivious 3 > 1 but 1 had the better soundtrack

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@cdobbs7 It’s not a complex situation. It’s only complex if you wish to maintain Israel as a white ethnostate in the region. I would call the Democrats and media’s coverage of this cowardly if there wasn’t clear intention played out over and over again to absolve Israel of genocide.

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 OMG PRECIOUS

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@BGibs122 That looks absolutely divine. I have also gotten marginally ok at cooking. Hooray progress!

[Matthew Rolfe @araharu823]

@beqlectic @h_sleepingirl I am too
