I’m genuinely trying to understand CAF’s logic here.

You just suspended Pape Thiaw for protesting against your poor officiating.

Yet we have clear video evidence of poor and visibly biased officiating against Senegal, nigeria etc?

Add to that the clear video evidence from multiple matches showing Morocco staff & even players like Hakimi interfering & harassing opponent goalkeepers, e.g., by removing their towels.

First with Nwabali (Nigeria), then again with Edouard Mendy (Senegal).

Same act. Same evidence.
No investigation. No sanction.

So what exactly are African teams expected to do?
Stay silent or be punished for speaking up?

This isn’t Senegal vs Morocco.
It isn’t Nigeria vs anyone.
It’s about fairness, consistency, and respect for African football.

Personally, I will be exploring every formal avenue available to challenge this suspension, because silence only normalizes injustice.

I can assure youthat Thiaw's stern protest did a lot to adjust the entire atmosphere of that field, impacting the psychology of the Moroccan players, & ultimately leading the Diaz missing that penalty. Mane did his part while the coach as the ultimate leader/manager of his did DID his!

They BOTH played their part to create/enforce that result they have today. If they'd just ACCEPTED that overall INJUSTICE like that, without a concrete protest for the officials & all to know that THIS IS & WAS NOT RIGHT; the Moroccan player would have "comfortably" gone to kick that penalty at that dying minute and WON the match and everyone will go home! His RESISTANCE is HOW you STOP a WITCH from stealing your blessing from the SPIRITUAL realm; if I may speak in spiritual parlance a bit!

Don't JOKE with such a moment o, if it happens to you in ANY of your projects & competitive situations!
