The Justice Centre announces that lawyers have filed an application for judicial review in Federal Court challenging certain portions of the 2026 long-form census questionnaire, arguing that Canadians are being compelled under threat of penalty to disclose highly personal information that exceeds the lawful scope of the census and violates Charter-protected privacy rights.

The application challenges a series of questions requiring disclosure of highly personal information, including health conditions, daily activities, commuting habits, housing circumstances, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Constitutional lawyer Hatim Kheir said, “Privacy is not a minor administrative concern. The Charter recognizes that personal information goes to individual dignity and liberty. When government compels disclosure of sensitive information under threat of penalty, courts must ask whether that intrusion is actually necessary and proportionate.”

Have we found the motivation for the murder of Henry Nowak?

They beat a man to death for nothing (see below).
This case is not unique.

What seems like a surprising and senseless murder to us, is completely reasonable to them.

Je viens de parler à la fois avec la médias de la Sûreté du Québec et avec André Therrien, l’homme québécois de 52 ans qu’on voit dans la vidéo virale d’une violente intervention policière.

Voici la propre vidéo d’André Therrien, qu’il m’a autorisée à publier, et qui précède le brutal plaquage au sol par la SQ.

Therrien marche vers la manifestation contre General Dynamics. Il parle fort et approche la foule.

Son téléphone semble ensuite être frappé alors qu’il filme. Il m’a dit qu’à ce moment-là, il a sécurisé son téléphone en le rangeant.

La vidéo virale publiée par @l3v1at4an montre ensuite un policier de la SQ pousser Therrien à plusieurs reprises.

Therrien m’a dit que le policier de la SQ lui a dit qu’il tentait de le garder en sécurité, qu’il devait quitter la manifestation, et qu’il n’avait pas d’affaire là.

Therrien lui a répondu qu’il avait le droit d’être là, et que si la police voulait le protéger, elle devait l’accompagner à l’avant.

On voit ensuite Therrien s’éloigner de la manifestation et marcher vers son véhicule.

À ce moment-là, il était seul et hors de la manifestation. Il affirme n’avoir reçu aucun avertissement ni aucune consigne avant d’être plaqué au sol.

La SQ affirme qu’André Therrien a été arrêté pour « voies de fait et entrave » après un comportement « agressif » lors d’une manifestation contre General Dynamics à Valleyfield.

Dans son courriel aux médias, la SQ affirme aussi que chaque intervention impliquant l’usage de la force fait l’objet d’une validation interne, et qu’elle attend cette validation avant de commenter davantage.

Therrien conteste la version de la SQ.

Il dit qu’il n’a reçu aucune sommation et qu’on ne lui a jamais dit verbalement qu’il était en état d’arrestation avant qu’il se rende au poste de la SQ de Valleyfield pour porter plainte contre la brutalité des policiers.

Selon lui, il a été plaqué au sol et menotté, mais il n’a pas été arrêté formellement et on ne lui a pas lu ses droits.

Il y a encore beaucoup de détails à écrire et à analyser sur ce qui s’est passé.

Chief Allan Adam is the lead voice of the First Nations coalition that brought the legal challenge that killed the citizen-led Alberta separation petition. He went on CBC to celebrate the ruling. He called it a "great win for Canada and for democracy."

But here is what CBC didn't ask him about.

Chief Allan receives foreign interference money. The Tides Foundation is a left-wing lobby organization based in San Francisco who wired $55,000 directly to Chief Allan Adam's bank account to oppose the oil sands.

Shortly after receiving that money, Adam flew to Toronto to sit on a stage next to Neil Young to publicly demonize Canada's energy industry.

CBC themselves reported that various American funders contributed an estimated $40 million to Canadian environmental and Indigenous groups with one specific goal.... to landlock Alberta crude by blocking pipeline construction. Researcher Vivian Krauss attributed the cancellation of Northern Gateway, Energy East, Keystone, and Trans Mountain directly to this coordinated American-funded campaign.

Chief Allan Adam was part of that campaign. He gladly took the money. This is real foreign interference in Canada's energy economy. And the same man who took American money to block Canadian prosperity is now the man leading the charge to block Albertans from having a democratic vote on their own future.

Meanwhile he REAPS the benefits of tax payer money from the very same industry profits.

The Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation's own audited financial statements tell a story that Chief Adam did not mention once during his CBC interview.

Combined with existing assets and real estate holdings, the band is sitting on close to $300 million. And the registered population of this band? 1,567 people total. With only 33 people living on reserve.

That works out to roughly $9 million per person on reserve and Canadian taxpayers are still sending them $10 million a year plus a $100 million lump sum payout.

Meanwhile this reserve has no public accounting of money spent since 2021. That's five years of missing financial disclosures. No accountability. No transparency. And the money keeps flowing.

Chief Adam has been doing this for years:

2018 — The National Post reported his complaints were complicating the Liberal review of the Frontier Oil Sands mine. The Alberta government publicly stated his concerns were about money, not environment.

2018 — Despite publicly criticizing fossil fuel developers and hosting anti-oil activists including Leonardo DiCaprio, Adam signed a benefit agreement with Teck after what he described as positive negotiations. His opposition was for sale.

2020 — Adam was stopped by RCMP outside a Fort McMurray casino for an expired license plate, resisted arrest, and publicly accused the officers of "racist" treatment. The RCMP was cleared. No evidence of misconduct was found.

Chief Allan Adam did not vote against Alberta separation. He did not organize Albertans to vote against it. He went to court to make sure Albertans never got to vote on it at all.

Over 300,000 Albertans signed that petition. They followed the law. They used the exact democratic mechanism the Legislature created for them. And a judge threw every one of those signatures in the garbage.

A man taking money from foreign interference organizations who also massively benefits from Alberta prosperity is taking democratic rights away from Albertans.

Yet he thinks this is a "win for democracy."

During King Charles III’s White House visit, President Trump walked the royal couple straight to the newly expanded beehives on the South Lawn.

Melania had just unveiled a hive shaped like the White House itself.

Then a live bee landed calmly on Trump’s open palm while the King and Queen watched in surprise.

This wasn’t random.

In ancient British and Scottish tradition, especially among royal and rural families, you must formally “tell the bees” of any major change in the household: a death, a marriage, a new master of the house.

The Dems, via a radial DC Judge, are attempting to prevent the construction of this “militarily imperative project” that is “deeply important to our National Security”.

I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with this ballroom, but it seems like a little more than just standard TDS. The US MIL are trying to make the White House as secure as possible, and the Dems are desperate to prevent that from happening for some reason.
