So true. F.A. Hayek made this point. That Communism is the best family structure. And this led people to assume it could be extended to a Nation as if a Nation could ever be one happy family with a dictator father figure in charge. The fatal flaw is it doesn’t work beyond the immediate family level. So it’s both the best and the worst system depending on the level.

@BenSearsMSYS @walterkirn Exactly. Email has ruined my life. Now every company can email me for free. No postage cost to send me a letter. So it’s endless. And always from a no reply address so I can’t write them back to ask questions. For that, I have to chat with an AI or call a call center in India.

@Jose_da_Couves @MaryBowdenMD @unbridledmd I think I can answer this. We in the U.S. are not free. We are highly regulated. A doctor is often not allowed to order tests or drugs for themselves or a family member. They have to go to an unrelated doctor.

@OwenBenjamin They were enslaved by warring Black tribes, then sold to the Arabs who then brought them to Brazil, Caribbean & Southern colonies. All of that before 1776. The slave states should have been excluded from the Union. That’s what they wanted anyway by 1860! Fought a war to leave.
