@padrespod Yes... I don't know what others are thinking they can get... Trust me, Pads are making playoffs because of his belief in the team and he wants to win. Other GM this yr would likely have traded Morejon and Miller at the All Star TDL and rebuild.
@madfriars I understand BA thinks less of the Pads, but even w/ a light inventory of impact prospects, the Padres are going to the playoffs and Giants with an A+, will be sitting at home watching the playoffs unlike the Padres. Prospects are good, but it's all about the playoffs & WS.
@lonestarfriar That is too bad that a fan would think that way. I hear Giants, Rockies or any other team would like another fan. Wouldn't want any fellow fan to think that way, as no one forces them to be a fan of any team. Stop second guessing already and just leave the Pads train station.
@FoulTerritoryTV Stamenn made a simple mistake & as it turned out, made right move. Buehler needs to be humble and be happy his team won, not wine as he was pitched poorly, placing his team in a position to lose the game. He should be happy his team rallied back to win, not sulk. Team sport
@APH00PS@SamQuinnCBS@ThirdApron The Clippers have no reason to suck right now, so why does this trade make sense? Clippers have enough pieces to trade off during the mid year to get draft picks, but why should they make stupid trades now for dumb contracts that other teams made. Let those teams enjoy them.
@JMAC_Baseball If one remembers, Abrams was struggling here in SD. They were never going to just let him play and make his mistakes. Kim would have been the SS, not Abrams, if Bogaerts hadn't arrived, plus Tatis would have been the SS or Merrill since they were both SS. Do we forget all this?
@JMAC_Baseball What do you do with Bogaerts? Imagine not being in the playoffs for last few yrs and this fan base getting very upset due to impatience, doubt and questioning of everything the team does... Imagine Preller gone and no France as well as Tatis and Merrill traded away? Could have..
@esidery Why would the Pacers get their picks back? Are they sent Zubac back to the Clippers?
They made the trade and dealt draft capital. Get over it!!!
Clippers have a lot to deal with, so like this fan base, just suck it up.
@KalshiHoops I just don't understand the thinking on this trade off. It isn't as Mathurin was going to be expensive and if you didn't want him, you could always trade him off for player or draft capital. He is better with stats than Stras in every way. 3 pt might be off a bit, not by much
@realbrentreed AJ does trade top prospects, but this fan base would also be pissed if the Pads didn't do anything to bring any SP. Ray & Mize are short term solutions, but if the Pads stayed put and kick their season away, fans would also be asking for Preller's head. He can't seem to win..
@JohnConniff@TooMuchMortons_ I think Salas has a strong arm, but still don't really know his calling and staff managing ability. He gets move so much, he still has a bit more development to grow with a staff and see their comfort with him and his signal calling ability and comfort behind the plate
@JohnConniff@TooMuchMortons_ I like that combo as well. I think there is no rush for Salas as I honestly don't want Pads to screw Salas like they did Campy. Campy struggled a bit & Pads (Shildt) threw his development 2-3 yrs back. Campy finally is figuring it out and he deserves a chance or trade.
@ClutchPoints@BrettSiegelNBA It is the easiest road for the Bulls, but not the Clips. They don't need another guard, they need front court players (Buzelis, Miller, Smith, etc.) who is young, productive and talented and picks. Otherwise, sign him without a sign and trade. Clippers will likely just match.
@NbaWoody Amazing that a Pacers fan has interest in the Kawhi situation. Pacers make a trade with the Clips that I'm sure they ensued and now regret the trade. Instead of looking at Clips' penalties, get upset with your Team leadership and stop trying to have Clips pay for your mistakes
