So I just found out why my dad has been banned from every Home Depot in our county since 2004. Apparently he got into an argument with an employee about whether concrete was "a liquid or a solid" and to prove his point, he bought 6 bags of concrete mix, made it in the parking lot, and tried to pour it on the hood of his truck to show that "liquids pour, therefore concrete is a liquid." The employee called the manager, my dad called him a coward who "fears knowledge," and then my dad realized the concrete was hardening on his truck. He panicked and drove through the parking lot with wet concrete flying everywhere, hit a display of grills, and caused $3000 in damages. My mom just sighed and said "yeah that's why we had to drive 40 minutes for a sink." I'm 28 years old and just learning this now because I suggested we go to Home Depot tomorrow.

Multiple Americans are saying that someone has gained access to their iPhones
While in the YouTube app, she suddenly hears on her phone typing, breathing, her ‘camera on’ indicator is lit up, she says the man was a foreign man speaking and typing
Multiple other people have said recently similar things have happened while in YouTube
I’ve looked into this and from what I can find it’s extremely rare, especially for the level of security Apple has
For this to work for a hacker to take control of your phone or app
- You would have had to have installed a malicious app or clicked a phishing link earlier. Something like a fake “YouTube update” or adult site redirect
- Or physical access to your phone at some point to install spyware
- Spyware or Remote Access Tool
Once inside, the malware could request or silently use your camera and mic permission
- It could run in the background and disguising itself as a legitimate process in your phone
The “typing, clicking, breathing, man’s voice” she described could be the attacker live-monitoring or testing controls
Even if you accidentally got this on your phone, the hacker would still likely be limited
Likely saying in YouTube with background access only to your camera and mic while YouTube plays normally
Even still, this is extremely creepy and not something you want to happen. This is exactly the type of thing you’d expect from an Indian scammer or something
Down click bad links or ever grant permissions to things not trustworthy
Luckily likelihood is very low on Apple iPhones with their security and sandboxing
FREEZER FACTS NOBODY TAUGHT YOU
- Butter freezes perfectly for up to a year. Stock up when it’s on sale.
- Cooked rice freezes better than raw. Make a big batch once a week.
- Bananas going brown? Freeze them. They’re now free ice cream.
- Cheese freezes fine if you shred it first. Pre-shredded bags are a scam.
- Bread lasts 3 months in the freezer. Stop letting loaves go stale.
- Egg yolks freeze better with a pinch of salt mixed in. Plain ones turn rubbery.
- Tomato paste always goes to waste. Freeze it in tablespoon portions on a tray.
- Cooked beans freeze for 6 months. Cheaper and better than canned.
- Fresh ginger lasts forever in the freezer and grates easier frozen.
- Heavy cream can be frozen. Shake it well after thawing before using.
This is the greatest chicken seasoning I’ve ever tasted in my life
I cook the chicken in an air fryer or on a cast iron skillet
It goes with EVERYTHING
IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT!

A LOT of MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES disappear when bills are paid, rent is secure, and the fridge is full. Peace is expensive. And pretending money doesn't affect mental health is privilege.
If your kid depends on FAFSA this Trump accounts will destroy them .
🚨🚨🚨
The government is giving a child $1,000 in "free money" but by placing it in an asset account in the child's name, they are disqualifying that child from thousands of dollars in Pell Grants and subsidized loans over their college career
($200/yr x 4 years = $800 lost immediately, plus more if the balance grows).
The "free money" is effectively clawed back by the financial aid system. The Treasury gives with one hand and the Department of Education takes with the other. This ensures poor families remain indebted to the system rather than receiving outright support
🚨🚨🚨🚨
——
THE WAGE REPLACEMENT SCHEME (THE CORPORATE TAX DODGE)⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️🏦🏦
Another anomaly Employers can contribute up to $2,500 per year to these accounts, and these contributions are "not considered income to the employee or the dependent." The Treasury promotes this as a "tax-preferred benefit" for small businesses.⚠️⚠️⚠️
So If an employer puts $2,500 into a Trump Account instead of giving the employee a $2,500 raise, who wins? 👀
The employee gets locked liquidity (can't touch it for 18 years), but the employer gets a tax deduction.
This incentivizes corporations to replace liquid wage increases with locked equity contributions. An employer can tell a worker, "I can't afford a $2,500 raise," and instead give them $2,500 in a Trump Account. 🚨🚨🚨
The employee thinks they got a bonus, but they actually got nothing they can use to pay rent or buy groceries today. This suppresses real wage growth by funneling compensation into illiquid government accounts that the worker cannot access, while the employer maximizes tax benefits.🚨🚨🚨🚨
——
THE NEGATIVE TAX ARBITRAGE (THE POOR MAN'S PENALTY)🚨🚨🚨
Another Anomaly: it says Contributing to a Trump Account is done with after-tax dollars (no deduction), but withdrawals are taxed as ordinary income upon distribution.⚠️
This is the opposite of a Roth IRA (where you pay tax now, but withdraw tax-free). In this system, you pay tax now, and you pay tax later.⚠️
This structure is predatory for low-income families who are currently in a low tax bracket. If a family in the 10% or 12% tax bracket contributes today, and the child withdraws the money at age 35 when they are in the 22% or 24% tax bracket, the family has voluntarily entered a higher tax liability. This structure guarantees the IRS collects more revenue decades from now than they would under a normal savings account or Roth structure.
The "benefit" of tax-deferred growth is wiped out by the penalty of higher taxes at withdrawal.⚠️⚠️⚠️
——
All these Trump accounts do is 🚨🚨 Loop:
The Government (Treasury) forces money in -> Robinhood/BNY manages it -> The money buys stocks/companies -> BlackRock/Goldman/etc. run those companies/assets -> The stocks go up due to forced demand -> The companies match employee contributions (tax write-off) -> More money in -> Stocks go up more.
It's a circular enrichment scheme for the financial sector.🚨🚨🚨STOLEN from US TAX PAYERS 🚨🚨🚨
@RepThomasMassie
Since my last post about fixing my HVAC capacitor ruffled so many feathers, here's another one...
We used to own a Mercedes GL450. The front right air suspension failed, so I took it to a shop.
Quote: $3,300.
I ordered the complete air strut online for under $200, spent about 6 hours in the garage with a couple of floor jacks and basic hand tools, and fixed it myself.
Was it more involved than replacing an HVAC capacitor? Absolutely.
Did it require learning something new? Yep.
That's the point.
We've convinced too many people they're incapable of fixing anything. A little research, the right tools, and a willingness to learn can save you thousands of dollars.
Know your limits. Work safely. But don't outsource every problem just because someone told you it's "too difficult or too dangerous."
