4 weeks since that special night at Old Trafford ✨
After 62 hours of work on this piece, I am pleased to share my latest artwork capturing one of the greatest comebacks in football ✍🏽
Hope you like it and share it with a @ManUtd fan ❤️

@Hayles_101 his confidence is at the lowest add to that we are not creating enough chances for him. Hopefully once we fix the players around him, his scoring problems should be fixed. Unfortunately he's likely to continue this dire form for rest of this season.
[Long Post]
Haven't talked about the Rashford situation because any post about him brings out a visceral reaction from United fans, which is perhaps not seen with any other player. The reaction is always extreme with both sides getting rabid and as such it is difficult to stay objective. But I think now it's time.
Rashford became a superstar at 18. And on one February night when he calmly slotted away a penalty to complete a historic, memorable & highly unlikely comeback against PSG, he became the face of the club. When he became the face of the club, it brought along certain responsibilities.
He (along with Bruno) was asked to carry the team forward. He was asked to be someone to galvanise the entire squad, lead by example, and guide the team to future glories. The issue is he is not a Cantona and he has never been one. It was unfair putting that burden on him. And he buckled.
The Euros happened. He was racially abused and the insurrection against him was probably more than others because it was politically motivated. He went for surgery post-Euros and by the time he came back, Ole's season was in free fall. He couldn't arrest the free-fall. He went with the flow and like others had an abysmal season.
There were signs of recovery under Ten Hag. He had his best season under him and was rewarded with a brand new contract that made him the highest earner. Things spiraled out of control after that.
Football is about facts. And the cold hard fact is he hasn't done enough. He has had just 1 good season out of the last 4. Since the new contract in July 2023, he has managed to score just 14 goals and provided 7 assists in all comps. These are not enough for your first team forward, forget someone getting paid £300k+/wk.
He seems reluctant to track back and do the dirty and unglamorous bits of football. He hasn't worked on his flaws. He still runs into defenders while dribbling. He doesn't take players on like he used to earlier. He isn't playing like someone who should be in his prime
And then there is this off-field stuff. I won't get into hearsay and speculation but it's a fact that he was dropped from the matchday squad earlier this year for the Belfast Booze incident. It is also a fact that the new manager dropped him from the Manchester derby just 2 days ago for not meeting the standards in training. These are clear and repeated patterns.
I fully sympathise with him; he was asked to carry the team in a bad period for the club, something he never asked to do. I sincerely empathise with him for the level of online hate he receives. It is not acceptable and the club ought to protect its players. But that doesn't mean you don't give your 100% in training or not meet the standards the manager sets or run or give your best every time you put on the shirt. This is why I have massive respect for Bruno and Maguire. Both received tons of hate. But both proved their value with their performances on the field.
I am also slightly miffed at how he has confirmed his potential departure. Henry Winter is a fantastic journalist so having him covering your story means you are controlling the narrative. But it has put Utd at a disadvantage as far as negotiations are concerned. Clubs vying for his signature are sure to cite this interview and point out that the player himself wants out and offer lower fees. That being said if Rashford stays true to his words and there are indeed no hard feelings over the situation, surely he will not demand a payoff from Utd, right?
All in all it is a shame we have come to this. Rashford was on track to break Rooney's record. Now he is leaving at 27. Everyone including the club, fans and Rashford himself should take a moment to introspect what went wrong.
But one thing you can't deny is moving on from him is the right and objective decision.
I hope he has a fantastic career elsewhere and his goals and achievements will always be cherished.
Peace 🌹
Amorim on Rashford/Garnacho: "It was not a disciplinary thing. Next week, next game, new life... When we want to change a lot of things, when people in the club are losing their jobs, they have to fight for their place in the team."
On a positive note, failing at the earliest is best for long term. Amorim is adamant to implement his tactics from the start unlike ETH who tried to do it after 2 seasons. As a fan we have to just live this through now to be better and competing in next 2 years.
I hope Dalot has his last game as LWB today, lots of good runs but the end product is always missing. Would like to see Malacia or Shaw playing there than him going and wasting our potential chance creations. #MUFC
@krishg1990 In Yesterday game especially his crosses were all sub par. Felt like he always puts the ball mostly into the center of penalty box rather than where Hojlund is running. This was quite frustrating to watch. Improve his crossing and shooting and he will be great asset under Amorim
@krishg1990 Hmm that's true. Dalot's passing is something he has to improve. Very careless sometimes. Harry Amass is another option, he was training with first team under ETH and RvN but then didn't see him under Ruben yet.
@ManUnited639647@krishg1990 Yes both confidence and fitness. Think he's already got the hang of system as it felt he knows what he should be doing tactics wise.
@krishg1990 I would prefer Maz on right as he looks better on there. Think Shaw played there in LCB because we don't have a fit backup LCB yet. I really hope it's the case. Malacia/Shaw for LWB should be the right way hoping both stay fit.
@ShanmukhSripada Incredible! You got another project now 😜
He's a very nice guy as I have seen him the first to arrive on a match day and patiently sign all the shirts and take pics with all the fans!
48 hours. Countless emotions. 1 Artwork. 🔴
I've poured my heart into capturing the essence of the United Trinity statue - George Best, Denis Law, and Sir Bobby Charlton ❤️
Would appreciate your thoughts and retweets if you liked my work! 😊🫶🏼

@MarcusRashford Thanks for writing this Rashford. I hav nvr personally doubted ur commitment. It's your body language and prolonged out of form which makes me think you are not fully committed to the games. I know how you are when you hit top form, please try to bring more of it consistently.
