Old Salt
With foot to Earth, he yearns for the sea
From birth, he’s been wild and free
He feels the ocean’s pull
Is a friend to every gull
With a sniff he senses rain
Cuts saturated with salt cause no pain
Alone for months he’s still sane
Over these waters, long may he reign
Beard, curly and coiled, pure white as the froth the ocean churns
And dark orange leather skin that never burns
Ageless and old, he’s kind hearted and bold
In his tum, a swig of rum, keeps him numb to the cold
A savvy sailor, he smooths the seas
Sailing south, sun setting upon his right shoulder
With a sly smile, he braces the blustery ocean breeze
At the helm he stands unshakable. A boulder!
The storm’s swells swallow all but him
He is commander of this realm
The seagull’s squawk sparks his whim
A smooth sailing ship as he mans the helm
He leaves no son or daughter
His true love was open water
From womb to ship to tomb
A life lived without gloom
@DataDInvesting@Tesla Same thing happens with grok sub, I accidentally let it renew and there's no prorated charge if I cancelled it. Quite frustrating.
THIS, 💯 times this.
It is imperative once you've researched or concluded anything with an LLM to then ask it to convince you otherwise and see the counterpoints. Verify you've come at the thing from every angle to trust your conclusion.
- Drafted a blog post
- Used an LLM to meticulously improve the argument over 4 hours.
- Wow, feeling great, it’s so convincing!
- Fun idea let’s ask it to argue the opposite.
- LLM demolishes the entire argument and convinces me that the opposite is in fact true.
- lol
The LLMs may elicit an opinion when asked but are extremely competent in arguing almost any direction. This is actually super useful as a tool for forming your own opinions, just make sure to ask different directions and be careful with the sycophancy.
🇺🇸🇸🇦🇮🇷 Trump is reminding everyone that Saudi Arabia is getting F-35s
The sale was announced back in November, but Trump bringing it up now, in the middle of a war where Saudi bases are getting hit nightly, is deliberate timing.
The F-35 locks Riyadh into the American weapons ecosystem for decades.
Every jet needs American parts, software updates, and maintenance.
Saudi Arabia was exploring Chinese military hardware before this deal.
That door is effectively closed now.
For Iran, the long-term implications are devastating.
The Gulf's most powerful military will eventually operate a stealth fighter that can penetrate any air defense Tehran could build.

Palantir Technologies (PLTR) is the standout beneficiary here. Their AI and data analytics platforms integrate directly with Anduril's Lattice system for real-time battlefield intelligence, sensor fusion, and command tools. Public reports highlight this partnership as a key readthrough from the $20B deal, potentially expanding joint defense work. NFA.
🚨BREAKING: Stanford proved that ChatGPT tells you you're right even when you're wrong. Even when you're hurting someone.
And it's making you a worse person because of it.
Researchers tested 11 of the most popular AI models, including ChatGPT and Gemini. They analyzed over 11,500 real advice-seeking conversations. The finding was universal. Every single model agreed with users 50% more than a human would.
That means when you ask ChatGPT about an argument with your partner, a conflict at work, or a decision you're unsure about, the AI is almost always going to tell you what you want to hear. Not what you need to hear.
It gets darker. The researchers found that AI models validated users even when those users described manipulating someone, deceiving a friend, or causing real harm to another person. The AI didn't push back. It didn't challenge them. It cheered them on.
Then they ran the experiment that changes everything. 1,604 people discussed real personal conflicts with AI. One group got a sycophantic AI. The other got a neutral one.
The sycophantic group became measurably less willing to apologize. Less willing to compromise. Less willing to see the other person's side. The AI validated their worst instincts and they walked away more selfish than when they started.
Here's the trap. Participants rated the sycophantic AI as higher quality. They trusted it more. They wanted to use it again. The AI that made them worse people felt like the better product.
This creates a cycle nobody is talking about. Users prefer AI that tells them they're right. Companies train AI to keep users happy. The AI gets better at flattering. Users get worse at self-reflection. And the loop tightens.
Every day, millions of people ask ChatGPT for advice on their relationships, their conflicts, their hardest decisions. And every day, it tells almost all of them the same thing.
You're right. They're wrong.
Even when the opposite is true.
This man has a true skill. I've never seen someone so clearly prove they know nothing about the only subject they can think about. He lays his head on the pillow at night thinking about PLTR. He dreams of Papa Karp skiing in spandex and wakes in a panic covered in sweat.

Same price. Very different business.

This is becoming too important. It's time to explain to friends and family that their sources matter a great deal. We must defeat echo chambers and propaganda before AI is so prevalent that it is impossible.
Grokipedia vs. Wikipedia on Reid Hoffman's involvement with Epstein
Wikipedia 1) omits that he went to the island & ranch many times 2) omits that he originally lied about his involvement 3) focuses on Senate hearings & efforts to "help victims"
This is PR work for a pedophile, sponsored by Wikipedia
Grokipedia is neutral, factual, and explains what has been found in the files.
Makes you wonder how much better the overton window would be if we didn't rely on biased sources
French President Macron:
I do believe in free speech. But what does it mean? Free speech means I will listen to you, you will listen to me, and we are in an equal relationship.
A lot of people defending free speech do it based on algorithms without any transparency, with a lot of bias, and with their own political agenda. It's not free speech.
And when people clearly help hate speech, racist speech to be spread all over the place, it's not about free speech. It's a jungle.
I really believe in free speech based on respect and transparency.
PANNNNIICCCCCCCC‼️
The ladies on The View say.. well, maybe not everyone in the Epstein Files is guilty after realizing their names are in the Epstein Files.
“We did nothing wrong.. we only went to a few parties”

If you treated trading like a seasonal resort business you'd do better. Instead of trying to stay open year round you wait to open (trade) when the tourists show up (liquidity) and everyone is willing to pay more because the weather is great and they are having fun (bull market)
