@jacobfhsmith If Manchin had run again in 2024 and won, I would accept these takes. But he straight up just nuked several good bills and then just ran away like a coward. Jon Tester also represented a red state and that he didn’t engage in such blatant obstruction like Manchin did.
@MikeRogersForMI If Mike Rogers win this race, Donald Trump wins this race. Stop acting like you’re anything more than one of Donald’s yes-men, you have no unique ideas of your own.
Billionaire-funded SuperPACs are launching attack ads against me.
They're dredging up old tweets that I deleted because I didn't agree with them anymore. As most millennials, I've spent my fair share of time thinking out loud on the internet. And I've been fiercely critical of BOTH parties.
I've said some dumb things, but here's what I've never done:
Unlike Tom Barrett, I’ve never voted to cut families’ health care. I’ve never voted for a senseless war. I've never voted to give tax breaks to data center developers. And I've never taken money from a corporation profiting from all of this.
I don't take orders from billionaires or party bosses. That's why these billionaires are going all out to try to defeat me.
@shesrightshow The real world where Donald Trump is president because he beat two moderate candidates???! Also Justice Dems and Our Revolution will endorse candidates running in the most unwinnable of unwinnable districts, so this -5.3% isn’t actually very helpful.
Hi 'Destiny'/Steven,
1. You do your best impression of Laura Loomer and Randy Fine by accusing me of being "just another mask-on, radical Islamist who’s been concealing his radical beliefs in an attempt to infiltrate western media" and then expect me to respond to/debate you? A guy pushing far-right Islamophobic smears?
So this is my one and only response to you, and then you're either muted or blocked.
2. Your claim that I am "largely clueless about Israel/Palestine" is laughable coming from a guy who had his ass handed to him on this issue by Norman Finkelstein and Mouin Rabbani over the course of a five-hour debate, where so many of your talking points came from Wikipedia searches.

I've actually interviewed Israeli prime ministers like Ehud Olmert; you famously didn't even know how to say Ehud Barak's name. Stay in your lane, Steven.
3. I'm not Hasan Piker's spokesman, but look, I know, for an Islamophobe like you, all of us Muslims called Hasan must believe the same thing. But if Hasan wants to defend China or Mao, that's on him, I obviously disagree. I loathe totalitarianism and killers of all kinds. I happen to be defending Hasan on the specific issue of anti-Zionism and antisemitism, where people this past week have been totally misquoting him or quoting him out of context or attacking him for things not dissimilar to what Haley Stevens and Ezra Klein have said. Many of the 5-second (!) clips of him speaking on long streams are obviously out of context. As for all the claims you make about him below, how am I even supposed to know if they're true? You offer no links, no evidence, just 'trust me bro.' Oh, and I asked him about some of his most controversial statements when he was on my podcast so stop lying about that but, either way, ask *him* to defend his views, not me.
4. You've been caught on camera telling budding Israeli troops: "Here's the one piece of advice I'll give you, ok if you're joining the IDF, ok? Leave your fucking cellphone at home and stop taking stupid fucking videos, ok? Because everyone's fucking you with them, ok. If you see a soldier, ok, going through a fucking drawer and, listen if you wanna wear a dress and you think it's funny, just don't fucking take a fucking video picture of it, Jesus."

I'm sure you'll claim that your advice to Israeli soldiers to cover up and hide their war crimes in Gaza is taken 'out of context' so surely you must see the irony here.
I know that I've never advised anyone to commit crimes but do it off camera!
5. Talking about things that are on or off camera, one of the reasons I don't engage with you is I hear all sorts of things about you and 'revenge porn' and other allegations, no idea if they're true or not, but you sure sound like a dodgy guy, so I'd rather keep my distance from you and I also don't know why you'd think I *must* answer your questions, at your command. This isn't a Twitch stream and I'm not your pal Nick Fuentes. Like I said, stay in your lane.

Oh, and of course, you've now also shown yourself to be a racist Islamophobe so another reason for me not to engage further (see point 1).
6. One good thing about you viciously and publicly attacking me like this is now I don't have to be weirded out about those fawning DMs you sent me last year saying "you are my only main stream media spirit animal right now...thank you."
Happy to return to a position of mutual loathing where you loudly and proudly support the killing of Palestinian civilians (and the looting of their clothes, off camera) while I remain consistent in opposing the killing of all civilians, Israelis, Palestinians, Muslims, Jews, all civilians.
Goodbye.
It’s long past due for every person, institution and country to tell this guy to shut the fuck up. Shut the fuck up now. Shut the fuck up tomorrow. Shut the fuck up forever.
@CenTexLib Only the terminally online know or care about Hasan. I live in Michigan where apparently he's supposed to be a big issue in our election and no voter I've talked to over the age of 25 even knows who he is, let alone cares enough about him to let it affect their vote.
@shesrightshow I love how you say all this like centrism hasn't been losing completely for the past decade including two devastating losses to Donald Trump, the single worst presidential candidate probably ever. Your lack of self-awareness is crazy.
@neeratanden You were so toxic that you being nominated to be OMB director was able to unite Joe Manchin and Bernie Sanders behind a common belief. Maybe you should sit this one out.
@0dCaiman@ColeSandick I didn’t say any of that lmao, you also clearly haven’t actually been paying attention to the race if you think Abdul only attacks aipac and not corruption in general.
@0dCaiman@ColeSandick Because people treat elections for Federal offices differently than elections for State offices. It’s how Kentucky has a Democratic governor while being a deep red state on the Federal level. Also Abdul is not going to “probably lose” lmao, no data is showing that.
