@moveonjob @BonesGotBizzy Kobe is a good player but he isn’t really a point guard in the NBA, he’s a shooter. He’s not someone you want running the offense.

@mathomp_501 He’ll probably get picked up so we can use his salary in a trade. Declining him, Brook, and Batum gives us less cap space than using all 3 salaries in a trade I believe. Plus not sure there’s anyone worth using the cap space on.

@mathomp_501 @ClappedCollins Clippers would have a lot of guards, maybe if you switch Vassell to NOLA and KJ and Carter Bryant to the Clippers. NOLA replaces Murphy with Vassell. Clippers get Carter Bryant to develop and KJ who can take up those minutes at the wing we lose by moving both Kawhi and DJ.

@KamitronPTW Could have used the 5th pick in a trade package for JB, Murphy, etc. Could have traded back, got extra assets and drafted Mara who is bigger, more mobile, and younger than Zu and would have extended their window to contend. But whatever you need to say to cope over a bad trade.

@johndrichardson Indy didn’t have to take Wagler 😂. Maybe they could have traded down and got 10 and 13 for 5. Used 10 to draft Mara and packaged 13 and the 2029 1st for Trey Murphy. Would have had options.
