Sometimes male anger at ‘women getting special treatment’ reminds me of a gorilla experiment.
One gorilla gets a banana every hour. The females next to him get one every four hours. Then someone decides to be ‘fairer’ and gives the females a banana every two hours instead. The original gorilla? He flips out. He’s still getting his banana every hour, but it feels like a loss because his advantage shrank.
That’s how a lot of men react to basic fairness for women: not as justice, but as theft.
One man can impregnate 9 women everyday for nine months. Those will be 2,430 pregnancies. A woman can only get pregnant once within nine months, even if she sleeps w 9 men everyday within 9 months. so, birth control should be for MEN, Science is busy making pills, and birth control for the WRONG PERSON.
In South Korea, women are often discriminated against in restaurants through portion sizes.
A very common practice is that restaurants serve men first, distribute full portions to them, and then bring whatever is left(often noticeably smaller portions)to women.
This isn’t an isolated incident or a joke. It’s common enough that there are actually shared lists online of restaurants known for giving women smaller portions simply because they are women.
So when women change their names to male names on food delivery apps to get bigger portions, it’s not paranoia or overreacting. it’s a response to a pattern of everyday, normalized gender discrimination in food service.
