@terrychristian I had a neighbour who was a sheep farmer and he was so poor he had to push a wheelbarrow 4 miles each way down country lanes to the nearest shop for food. Said it was the fault of supermarkets. He only had about 30 ewes.

@politvidchannel Sadly I fear voters were angry enough with the Democrats to abandon them - and ultimately these things can come down to the price of bread - most people don't keep up with politics. But recounts are a normal and valid process in democracy.

@B1gR1gBarb1e @weiss_acre @jk_rowling Just saying (i studied the sexing of human bone at MSc level) pelvises are a bit more ambiguous than that, often. Its a spectrum of traits rather than always overt. You actually have a long checklist of traits to note when sexing skeletons and its never 100%.

@Van1LLaWafer @RandomTheGuy_ @fasc1nate Yes, you can. Look up isotopic dating and thermoluminescence dating as well as geological dating. Carbon dating can only date organic material but its just one if many different dating methods (I presume that is what this is about rock dating)

@PicturesFoIder Not the best poster. An important message for students (looks like a university one) but it shouldnt have said "Jake is drunk". It should have said "Jake got Josie drunk" or "Jake got Jack drunk" which is a more accurate scenario for this kind of predation.

The hostages need to be released and Israel must stop murdering and starving Gazan civilians. Only ceasefires bring hostages home safely. This cycle of atrocities must stop.

@PopCrave She has never had a normal life and she needs space and time to rehabiliate. She will make all kinds of mistakes but those mistakes are an important, crucial part of her growth right now. She needs space and dignity as she goes through that process of adjustment.
