@jrmiller777@crapolavich Sorry, I meant to post under the plural wives commenter. My bad. I don't see Moses as important a prophet as other OT prophets. I totally agree with your post!
@crapolavich@jrmiller777 As far as prophecy goes I don't think Moses was as important in that role. I think I neglected to comment under the correct response to your OP. Sorry! I was responding to the person who responded about those important Biblical figures.
@crapolavich@jrmiller777 None of them were prophets. God used them all, but not primarily in the role of a prophet as Elijah, Isaiah, Hosea, etc. The test of a prophet is does their testimony come true, not what sin is in their lives.
@jrmiller777@crapolavich He provided some prophecy but his main role was to lead the Israelites out of slavery and into the promised land. The prophecy he gave actually happened. Can you say the same for Joseph Smith?
Why do Mormons want so badly to be considered Christians? In the recent debate on the book of Mormon with @emuse1955, @LukeFHan stated that Joseph Smith started a new religion. He was exactly right on that.
@DeztroReal@libsoftiktok Don't paint them all the same. They are not. If the family is visiting the person they should see these issues and move their loved one. Did the family never visit? Bad apples will notice that and take advantage.
@emuse1955 FWIW, I give you the W in that debate. I just watched it. I have some debate experience as a club leader, tab director and sort of coach so I'm not totally unaware of the protocol. Good job!
This might be a little too American of a solution for some people's taste but I'm pretty sure if you're sawing someone's head off in the street we should be allowed to put you down on the spot like the rabid dog you are. Just pop them between the eyes and toss them in the back of the animal control truck to be incinerated, would probably cut down on that nonsense.
