We found that a stack of 2D metals with broken subsystem symmetry can exhibit anisotropic non-Fermi liquid behavior with
1. Short-lived quasiparticles t ~ 1/|ω log|ω||
2. Logarithmic corrections to specific heat C ~ T (log(1/T))^2

@sanskriti_astro I guess, the observed spectrum is roughly a blackbody spectrum, from which you can estimate the temperature, and there are peaks on top of that blackbody spectrum which are caused by the chemical composition of CGM? In that case, what exactly does not match with existing theory?
