Elon Musk held up a chainsaw, fed USAID into the wood chipper, and at least 600,00 people have already died as a result - two-thirds of them children.
History's first trillionaire.
“The British government is set to unveil a new Cycling & Walking Investment Strategy directing £4.5 billion toward active transportation over the next 5 years. The plan includes the construction of 5k new walking, cycling & wheeling routes & 10k safer crossings by 2030.” Via @MomentumMag https://t.co/aZpK3l9vuW
"This Sunday night’s UFC spectacle on the South Lawn...captures something about this moment in our history.
It's vulgar, violent, commercial, grandiose, tacky, and it dishonors a place once thought worthy of care and respect. In other words, it’s Donald Trump."

Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500.
If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.
Lindsey Graham, who’s incessantly pushing nationwide abortion bans, wants to control what we do with our bodies. Annie Andrews explicitly supports our right to control our own bodies. It’s way past time to kick Lindsey to the curb. Let’s do this South Carolina.
The human heart is not filled by accumulating experiences, possibilities, or temporary guarantees; it is filled when it discovers a call, when it understands that life reaches fullness only if it is given. Following Christ does not impoverish existence, but expands it. #ApostolicJourney
Ossoff: Last September, the President of Kazakhstan calls Donald Trump and says he wants to grant tungsten mining rights to an American company. And the very next month, Eric and Don Jr. get a stake in the American company pursuing the mining deal.
Six days later, six days after Prince Eric and Prince Don get their stake, Kazakhstan announces this company will get, “The largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the world.” A few more weeks go by, and then the U.S. government, run by their father, sets aside 1.6 billion of your tax dollars to fund and finance their mining project. In Kazakhstan.
All this while you pay more for gas, for groceries, for health care, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
MAJOR BREAKING: Canada bans Texas cattle over flesh-eating screwworm outbreak.
Remember that Trump/DOGE pushed broad USDA staffing and budget cuts that affected APHIS, which happens to be the the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service within the U.S. Department of Agriculture, responsible for overseeing screwworm in cattle at the federal level.
Thanks Trump for screwing us, you worm....
After 8 billion doses (yes 8 BILLION, not a typo) Covid vaccines are at this point one of the most tested medical interventions in history and one of the safest ever
BAM! Colombia has announced a historic ban on all new oil and large-scale mining projects in its part of the Amazon Rainforest, protecting an area roughly the size of Sweden. 🌿
Experts say the move could help protect one of the planet’s most important ecosystems—often called the “lungs of the Earth.” 🌎🌳
Nature is amazing. Protect it.

“Air pollution fell substantially as Paris restricted car traffic and made way for parks, people-streets and bike-lanes.”
Better for the climate, better for health, better for livability and quality of life.
Common sense.
Such a no-brainer, it’s remarkable that more cities HAVEN’T done the same.

Entering month 6 of the Mamdani mayorship of NYC and Robberies are down 11%, Retail theft is down 19%, and Murder is down an astounding 21%.
And he did so without "Adding 5000 new cops" to the streets. Instead, he's invested in public safety with free childcare, accessible infrastructure, and better funded schools and libraries. He's proven once again that if we want safer communities, we must invest in People—not Punishments.
People who sometimes use a bicycle for transportation are much better drivers because they have more than just a windshield perspective of the world around them.
This is really stupid, and it’s not getting enough attention.
The Trump administration is pulling a working $368 million ocean monitoring system out of the water, equipment taxpayers already bought, built, and sank into the deep ocean.
And they are doing it right when the oceans are behaving in ways that alarm the scientists who study them.
Record-breaking temperatures.
A system of Atlantic currents that may be lurching toward collapse.
The response?
Yank out the instruments and walk away.
That is not budgeting. That is smashing the gauges while the engine is on fire and calling it efficiency.
For what? The Trump administration dressed it up as a “nimbler approach” and “smart lifecycle management,” which is fancy nonsense for “we shut it off and hoped nobody would ask why.” There is no return-on-investment analysis. They cannot show taxpayers save a dime, because the gear is already paid for and the science it produces protects real money and real lives.
The kicker: the same people killing the monitors want to mine the deep sea for minerals. So they are destroying the only tools that could measure what that mining does. That is not an accident.
That is the point. You cannot see the damage if you break the instruments first.

On this 82nd anniversary of D-Day, remember: The way we wonder why Germans didn’t stop Hitler is exactly how the rest of the world views Americans and Trump today.
