I’ve been to an innumerable amount of protestant worship services and I enjoyed them immensely. I’m secure enough in my faith to not spend an inordinate part amount of time worrying about other Christians who don’t share mine.
Here’s the thing though: you hear a lot more Scripture at a catholic mass then I ever heard at any non-Catholic Christian service and that’s a fact.
It’s so sad that your wife sat right in the presence of the greatest treasure in the universe and somehow missed the whole thing.
Honestly, it’s almost a skill.
When we gather to begin mass, we either chant a scripture or we sing it in some other form.
Then, we all sing the “Gloria”, directly from the gospel of Luke.
Then we hear a reading from the Old Testament.
Then we sing or chant a Psalm together.
Then we hear a reading from the New Testament.
After that, we all stand and cry out, “hallelujah!” in preparation to hear the gospel
Then the priest gives a meditation or a homily or a sermon based on the scripture.
Throughout the rest of mass, I can think of eight times where God’s people quote scripture or hear scripture.
It’s a lot more scripture than I ever took in at a protestant service, almost every one of which was totally dominated by the pastor’s voice talking about one, maybe two scriptures and talking about them for a long time.

🚨WHAT ON EARTH?!!

The TEACHER OF THE YEAR in Nashville TM just walked away from her career B says the district ORDERED HER TO FABRICATE GRADES.

She refused. So they went into the system and CHANGED IT THEMSELVES.

According to the teacher, a student didn’t finish a project. Hardcastle (the teacher) gave the grade the student earned.

Then a parent came in and SAT IN THE OFFICE FOR HOURS until that grade changed.

Three administrators huddled up and decided the AWARD-WINNING TEACHER was the problem.

She still refused to change the grade.

So they overrode her and changed it ANYWAY.

She quit in May and put all of it in a three-page resignation letter. It’s public. Read it yourself. She calls it GRADE FABRICATION.

And then she stood up in front of the school board and said the quiet part into a microphone: “Statistics are being skewed to protect the district, not our children.”

Our kids can’t read. Can’t write. Can’t do basic math. But the DASHBOARD LOOKS GREAT.

AND SHE IS NOT THE ONLY ONE.

WSMV4 Investigates pulled the internal emails of Diana Wills, a math teacher at Overton High.

Administrators told her she had to hand failing students a D — over a PAPERWORK TECHNICALITY about parent notification. One kid was told again and again to make up his exams and never bothered. She was on medical leave for most of that semester.

She put her refusal in writing: “What is being done is unethical and could very well be interpreted as illegal.”

THE DISTRICT SUSPENDED HER.

She’s suing them right now.

At MNPS, when a teacher and an administrator disagree about a grade, THE ADMINISTRATOR WINS.

Not the person who taught the class. Not the person who graded the work.

The bureaucrat whose numbers go UP when your kid passes.

Right wingers aren't the reason people can't stand the trans movement.

I'd argue MOST people, me included, used to be totally indifferent to all of this. My position genuinely used to be that I don't care what you do as an adult, provided it doesn't affect me.

I don't feel like that any more. Not even a little.

Somewhere along the road, trans activists and progressives got extremely forceful and loud. And then it became impossible to ignore their bullshit.

"Please let us live in peace" turned into forcing transition on minors.
And forcing men into women's spaces.
And quite literally changing the definition of the word "woman".

In medicine, we have been pushed to change how we understand the female sex in order to accommodate a bunch of men who think they are female (lmfao what the fuck are we even doing?)

Then it was all the legal battles where judges undermined what it is to be a woman. Forcing women to accept men into female-only gyms, locker rooms, bathrooms and apps. Making women feel uncomfortable and unsafe in order to protect the precious feelings of these men.

We have been to thoroughly dehumanized by the trans community.
"Chest feeding"
"Front hole"
"Menstruating person"
"Birthing person"

Anything and everything that makes women remarkable, unique, and DIFFERENT to men has been erased so we can include a bunch of mentally ill men in our ranks.

Voicing concern got you fired and socially ostracized. Women have been too terrified to speak up and do anything because, across the Western world, we have virtually no support and no protections from the justice system.

Women (and men) in Britain were (maybe still are) being charged and arrested for MISGENDERING people online. Harassed for pointing out the biological reality that MEN CANNOT BE WOMEN.

And this doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what women, girls and children have had to endure for the past decade or so.

Public opinion went backwards because the most insane people have had the microphone for the better part of ten years. And they have pushed everyone's tolerance to the brink.

Blame yourselves. You did this to yourselves. You have hurt women and children so significantly and so thoroughly that there is no coming back from this.

You are exclusively the ones at fault for where you are, Tim McBride.
