@kasujja "Engaging senior government officials", in and of itself, doesn't prove our credibility.
Full Figure and many others also engage senior government officials.
"A reign of terror grips Uganda," led by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the country’s belligerent and erratic military chief, who wants to be the next president after his father, Yoweri Museveni, the octogenarian autocrat who has ruled Uganda for four decades. https://t.co/T1uO2mcAeK
In this stirring video, a mother asks how a regime that brutalised her during the January 2026 elections for simply holding the Ugandan flag can now claim the moral authority to forcefully send her S6-leaver child to Kyankwanzi for “patriotism” training!
Having come to the realization that citizens are now politically awake, the Museveni dictatorship is now trying to indoctrinate our unsuspecting children. WE MUST NOT ALLOW IT!
This is not a barracks. Civilians are citizens, not soldiers under command. Public discourse is part of civilian life, and people have a right to ask questions and discuss matters that affect their country.
This was activist Mulinge Muteti speaking during protests in Nairobi calling for the release of Ugandan opposition leader Kizza Besigye, shortly before he went missing.
They are prisoners of conscience. Their sole crime is fighting for a better Uganda for you and me. Let’s keep pressing for their freedom.

Glad to see comrades Bobi Young and Saudah Madaada back home to their families after spending nearly 2½ years and 1 year, respectively, in jail on politically motivated charges.
Welcome back home comrades, and be sure that this painful sacrifice you have made for the sake of a better Uganda will be vindicated. Those who unjustly imprisoned you will one day be held to account for their crimes.
Since Uganda’s independence in 1962, power has never changed hands through voting. The military is trying to continue that disturbing pattern by pushing Museveni's son as the next president. https://t.co/zGSZiqGyKU
Very pleased to welcome back our comrade Agaba Anthony aka Bobi Young from detention. Bobi Young was violently abducted on 23rd May 2024 and has been detention since. After an absolute failure of all legal processes, he was pushed into pleading guilty to crimes he did not commit before the military court. We welcome him back and continue to demand for the freedom of all political prisoners!

JUST IN: The High Court in Kampala has ordered the Uganda Prisons Service to produce the NUP Deputy Spokesperson Waiswa Mufumbiro in court for the hearing of his election petition against Fredrick Ruhindi.
Mufumbiro challenges Ruhindi’s declaration as MP for Nakawa East, alleging that the Electoral Commission, the second respondents in the case, erroneously declared him the winner.
Justice must be served.
Malaysia’s position is clear and unequivocal. We will not allow our country to be used as a conduit for any shipment that supports or contributes to Israel’s military capabilities and its atrocities against Palestinians and other innocent lives.
Any suspicious shipment will be subject to inspection and investigation in accordance with Malaysian law. Where a violation is established, decisive action will be taken.

Our Deputy President Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi was back in Court today for the hearing of his bail application that has been pending since 11th August. Court, once again, has remanded him to prison and adjourned the matter to 29th September when it will deliver its ruling.
