@mcdizzle17 Indoctrinate? If seeing blue and purple could compel you to find men and women sexually attractive - you were already bisexual to begin with
@Swurv__ There is a slight benefit in that if a game is exclusive it can be used to more effectively push the hardware. In such as a case more investment can end up being given to development to sell copies of the game but also the exclusive console itself
@Lnn85118766@TheManDocSmurf@SmashJT I wonder if itโs a grift or they look for this stuff so obsessively they really do see it everywhere they look now
@Gondolinhrim@Tahnit@BigBoris_2 I'm not even saying you have to respect the decision to not alter the 3D map to correct the look back to the original - but how is that not the most obvious conclusion as to why they look different?
@DukeNukem1996@a_man_in_red I believe Unity and Unreal are the most popular. & yeah I think Frostbyte was a bad selection for Andromeda hence the weird characters.
@DukeNukem1996@a_man_in_red Some engines seem to be better at portraying human beauty than others which might be a factor. My only skepticism of the deliberate uglification thing is I really can't see any upside to it all. I honestly might be wrong but it's something I want to see a smoking gun on
@giftedrulership@KawiNinjaZX@Culture3ase@Que_Hill@SonySantaMonica I definitely wouldn't say the new GOW games have a confusing story. This is just a possible connection someone has noticed, if you just play through the games the narrative is honestly quite straight forward.
@Dreamd0nt@x0Starlight I wouldn't say a game with a female protagonist is necessarily aimed at women. On balance the most popular games with women tend to avoid violence. It's more the themes/objectives that dictate whether a series is popular with a particular gender
@criticalhitsTV I don't see the impact being as significant with an action adventure game - particularly as there seems to be the typical focus on combat based on the trailer. My issue would be more so if the game moved away from the fighting which is the main thing I play these games for
@TemplarsRoar I'd personally rather play as Kratos but the GOW games so far have been so good I'm willing to give it a shot with a different protagonist. Plus I always wait for at least 5 + reviews before buying - I never preorder ahead of reviews
@xaviersonline_ This is the balanced take I was looking for. She's definitely not quite as attractive as the real actress but why would they make her intentionally less attractive? Particularly when we're just talking about the face - why would any feminist consultancy care about that?
@RescuerPrincess@ItsKiraWorld Why would they chose an attractive model then make her intentionally uglier? You would obviously just cheap out and hire an unattractive model in the first place
@Pirat_Nation I've always struggled with the deliberate uglification idea. I can maybe see consultants pushing for more conservatively dressed women or with modest proportions. What's the angle on making a woman facially ugly on purpose though?
