here is a good example of why citizens attending town meetings should be prepared beforehand.
if one of their own is arrested, everyone should rise to their feet & defend him.
if they sit meekly, registering only verbal protests, they will not be effective.
what appears to be developing is that in scattered communities in the US, particularly red states, data centers are going to be built because local politicians have accepted bribes (whatever they may be called: campaign contributions?) to facilitate them. citizens are not informed beforehand.
citizens should be alert & alarmed & ready to peacefully but firmly oppose data centers in their midst.
"divided we fall, united we stand."
in her former life Megyn Kelly led the cheers at the old-timey lynchings. blond, pony-tailed, peppy, all-American Christian girl-next-door screaming "Lynch them! Kill them! We know we are better than you are--we are WHITE. Dark skins! Die!"
This is a very dark time for America. Mainstream Republican politicians speaking like old-school racists about a minority community while an all white crowd cheers and hoots.
This week, Congress passed the biggest housing bill in decades, poised to lower costs for millions.
But Trump won't sign it.
Instead, he’s prioritizing a bill to make it harder for you to vote—and less likely for him to be impeached for embezzling money as president.
Johnson: If we were to lose the midterms, heaven forbid, these Democrats, y'all impeachment's not even the big concern. They will turn every committee of Congress into an investigative body, and they'll go after the president's family, the The cabinet, his donors and friends, half of you in this room will be targeted. I run the protection program. We’ll take care of you.
Of course he did. Doesn't matter that the bill is bipartisan.
He doesn't give a shit about Americans; he only cares about staying out of jail.
And if that requires stealing an election or two and destroying American democracy, that's exactly what he's going to try to do.
