Morning @andyburnham, I am a British taxpayer, please can you advise me how I unsubscribe from paying for this, its absolutely killing me.
Regards, Tony Evac.
@sunderlandafc11 This man is a snake and everyone should block the prick. An agents stooge for unsettling players to make more money. Every time you go on his pages and stories he gets money, stop the cash for him...
@Capt_Fishpaste Im the type of supporter who will clap every ex Sunderland player on the return to staduim (barring 1 or 3 that took the piss out of us) but I can 100% say i wouldn't clap Granit if he leaves like this after the tears n statements he made about Sunderland, the fans.. not genuine.
This is Hannah, one of our incredible foster carers at Battersea Old Windsor. 💙 She's currently fostering Nimba, who's really come out of her shell since going home with Hannah! We're in need of more foster carers for dogs at Old Windsor. Start here 👉 https://t.co/lUMtkFQBRk
🚨 YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO READ THIS TO BELIEVE IT.
If you own a home, have a pension, or plan to leave an inheritance, Andy Burnham's leaked economic plans should terrify you. 🤡
He is planning to scrap the capital gains tax "uplift on death," meaning grieving families will be hit with double tax bills on inherited family homes.
Begbies Chartered Accountants confirmed this double levy will hit grieving families with an effective 62% tax rate!
But it gets even worse.
Burnham wants to replace council tax with a new annual property tax of 0.48% of your home's value.
If you live in an average £553,000 house, you will be forced to pay £2,654 every single year just for the privilege of living in your own home!
They want to tax you while you live, tax you when you die, and tax your children for mourning you.

Gorgeous Lab Retriever MAC is looking for a new home.
Sadly Macs owner is seriously unwell and won’t be able to care for Mac any more.
MAC is very friendly. He is very loving and affectionate and loves to meet new people.
He’s been use to a cat and also another small dog.
Mac is also registered with the vets and healthy with no issues.
He is 7 years young and very playful and spritely.
Mac is house trained and travels well in the car. He can be strong on the lead.
He would suit someone who doesn’t have young children - we don’t know how he would be with small kids.
A home with older teens over 14 is fine.
Mac is neutered.
We don’t have a lot of information sadly as his previously owner can no longer communicate, so the information we do have is what we have found out and shared from the vets.
If you’d like to give this lovely lad a home please email us directly on [email protected] with some information about yourself (including where you stay and if you meet the criteria above).
Sorry we can’t accept private messages or comment enquiries.
If you need help to rehome your pet please call us on 0330 133 4594.
We've had no enquiries for Sprite so far! Can you please share to help her on her way?
Her owner is unwell and sadly can't look after her. We are trying to find Sprite a new, experienced home.
Sprites owners is now in hospital. We’re still looking for a new home for her. We only cover Scotland for home checks etc. can you please share? Please email for any details.
This lovely girls owner is unwell and we need help to share her appeal please.
A new home needs to be found. Scotland, however will consider further afield if new owner can collect following home check.
We're looking for a new home for Sprite.
She is a beautiful 2 year old female Cane Corso.
Sprite's owner is really unwell at the moment and sadly cannot look after her anymore.
He was admitted to hospital, however discharged himself when no one could help look after Sprite.
He doesn't have family nearby sadly and has exhausted all avenues and now wishes to find Sprite a home with someone who is active and can be there for her.
Sprite is great natured and likes to meet people. She has been around children (7+ due to her size please) and dogs her own size. She can be wary of small dogs.
A home with no cats is best.
Sprite has not been in a car that much. She eats Asda Hero wet and dry food, she isn't keen on any other food and does not get chicken as she is allergic to chicken flavoured foods.
Sprite turned 2 years old in Feb 2026. She is house trained and listens to commands.
She will sit at the road side and go to her bed when told.
Ideally she would suit someone who has a garden and has experience of bigger dogs.
Spite is also registered at the vets.
If you could offer a home please email [email protected] with some information about yourself and the home you can offer.
A home check will be done first.
We cover the whole of Scotland.
Please email [email protected] for any information.
We don't accept private messages to this page.
If you can't offer Sprite a new home please share her appeal to help her on her way.
We’re still looking for a home for Astrid, can you please share?
Astrid is a 5 year old female German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois. She is available and looking for a new home.
Astrid is chipped and spayed and also healthy with no medical issues.
She would suit a home with someone who is active and can give her plenty of walks and attention.
Astrid eats a mix of wet and dry food and can be left on her own.
She travels well in the van with her dog walker but can be car sick. She sleeps in her owners room at night either on the bed or her own bed on the floor.
Astrid likes to meet new people and gets excited. She would be fine around teenagers but not small children.
Astrid doesn’t like cats. She is registered with the vets.
She is fine on group walks but when she is with her owner she can be reactive to other dogs as she thinks she is protecting her owner.
A home with no other animals is best for Astrid and her needs.
She is use to spending time alone at home with background music left on for her. Astrid is excellent at letting you know when she needs the toilet. She is kept on a lead when out on walks as she can be reactive to other dogs but not all dogs. She is also use to a long lead and loves to play with her toy or a ball. Astrid sees playing with toys or a ball as a job and doesn't pay much attention to other dogs unless they come into her space.
