@NintyPrime Engages fantastic battle animations were held back by being limited to 30 FPS. The whole feel of the game is smoother even while it's just navigating menus and scrolling the map.

@hydramidwestdad@TheDragoonQueen It looks and "feels" better at 60 FPS, even navigating the menus and scrolling the map is a smoother experience and controls feel more responsive.
@TheDragoonQueen My video is a screen capture so both look slightly worse than the sources:
30 FPS

60 FPS

In 60 FPS hits can be perceived one by one with ease, unlike in the 30 FPS version.
@Binabik83@TheDragoonQueen Looking at both at the same time may not be noticeable, but check bottom (60) first and notice how you can see individual hits, while the top one is a messy barrage.
@GotHicks@TheDragoonQueen Poses stay longer but attacks are very fast (not only on this example) and they are disserved by being played at 30 FPS. You can see individual hits in the bottom video while the top is a messy barrage.
@axelinabox@TheDragoonQueen Looking at both at the same time may may not be noticeable, but check bottom (60) first and notice how you can see individual hits, the see the top one and it looks messy.
@The__Goomba FPS is not only about gameplay precision, but nice, smooth graphics. New Fire Emblems have flashy battle animations that are held back by the game's limited frame rate. Also menu controls and map scrolling are more enjoyable at 60 FPS.

@Moshi_man8@TheDragoonQueen This is not a shooter so you don't **need** 60 FPS, but with 60 the animations look tons better and everything feels smoother.
