Maybe it's also bc the majority of their content thrives off people who don't know a lick of Japanese. Having passed most of them in Tokyo, their actual Japanese is better than portrayed in their videos. Also Joey's a double-first-language person, having grown up as a ハーフ

People have been showing me this video and I'm not really interested in covering it on YouTube at the moment. HOWEVER one thing that bothers me is how the fuck is this guy so complacent about basically all of his YouTuber friends not learning Japanese?

I know that normies and the fans can't tell that Chris Broad, Connor, Garnt, Sydney, PremiereTwo, Emirichu, and Daidus don't actually speak Japanese but... as a native speaker, Joey can see other Japanese people talking to Chris like he's a 6 year old child. He can see Connor struggling to form a complete sentence. He knows that all Garnt can say is 「よかった」after 6 years of living there. And this is not a controversial thing to anyone who actually studies or is native. It's obvious these people aren't good if you speak Japanese.

The only exception here is Joey's wife Aki. And to point out how ridiculous this is, there is a video of Aki FUCKING DESTROYING Chris's Japanese level after only like 2 years of practice at a language school in Yokohama. I don't know if Aki has gotten better but the fact that she was able to improve so fast really highlights how little effort the others have put in.

I have seen Joey bring up anti-foreigner sentiment multiple times yet there is no pressure or, "Hey could you guys actually study and stop being a disgrace to the country that you are a guest in?" All of them have huge channels and represent the west and they make westerners look like shit.

Changing a design from beta to 1.0 means nothing. There were no grounds to sue based on trademark either. You cannot sue based solely on someone seeing an inspiring design and changing it enough to become an original character. And the lawsuit's about patents you illiterate fucks

Some LG, Alienware, and Dell monitor owners have discovered that simply plugging their monitor into a Windows PC can automatically install adware without asking for permission first.

Users are mad because the app immediately starts showing McAfee pop-up ads after it’s installed.

Apparently, this happens because Windows automatically downloads companion apps for supported devices, while Windows handles the installation, monitor manufacturers decide what the app does after it’s installed.
