Słyszałem że Zełeński uparł się żeby robić sobie krzywdę gloryfikując ludobójców z UPA.
Cóż, prymat polityki krajowej nad zagraniczną jest domeną wielu krajów. W imię tego robienie strasznych głupot - niestety również.

Tak tylko przypominam że UPA zaplanowała ludobójstwo i czystki etniczne na ziemiach wschodnich II RP. Była to planowana i skrupulatnie wykonywana akcja czystek etnicznych. Niemcy mieli gaz i obozy koncentracyjne dla Żydów a Ukraińcy mieli siekiery dla własnych sąsiadów - Polaków.
O ile pojedyncze akcje sotni UPA lub oddziałów AK można by podciągać pod zbrodnie wojenne - jakich było dużo o tyle różnica jest jedna i uderzająca - to OUN/UPA zaplanowały czystkę etniczną / ludobójstwo żeby "oczyścić" z Polaków teren który miał się stać etnicznie ukraiński.
Polskie AK nigdy nie planowało takich operacji, nigdy nie zakładało polityki czystek etnicznych jako podwalin odzyskania niepodległości. UPA - tak.
Jest to różnica która niestety umyka ukraińskim komentatorom.
Zbrodnie wojenne popełniały obie strony. Planową eksterminację i ludobójstwo - tylko jedna.

ok, "taste" is overloaded, but in the context of our conversation it's real.

Example: look at the designs and frontends from @commerce_ui (ecommerce agency I founded). Getting this quality from figma to code requires a VERY good design eye. You just gotta see the detail. You'll make hundreds of micro decisions which designer didn't take into account or you'll drawn in infinite feedback loops. I just call it "taste" and it's real. I interviewed hundreds of devs for this role, it's extremely rare. It's impossible for pure BE to do right, even with infinite tokens, at least with todays AI capacity. Most FEs aren't there.

if you talk about generic shadcn dashboards, then fine. But you wouldn't do @linear like that and @karrisaarinen gets it.

Truly great frontend is not just engineering, it's taste, design eye and UX intuition. Those are completely untrainable with AI.

@jheitzeb Yes!! I recently did proper email integration. Emails are... emails. Years of libs, imperfect solutions, piles of code, terrible DX.

I dropped it all, used one prompt and mini model. Works perfectly. `await llm(...)` sprinkled in "normal code" is gonna be a big pattern.
