I don’t want to connect my coffee machine to the wifi network. I don’t want to share the file with OneDrive. I don’t want to download an app to check my car’s fluid levels. I don’t want to scan a QR code to view the restaurant menu. I don’t want to let Google know my location before showing me the search results. I don’t want to include a Teams link on the calendar invite. I don’t want to pay 50 different monthly subscription fees for all my software. I don’t want to upgrade to TurboTax platinum plus audit protection. I don’t want to install the Webex plugin to join the meeting. I don’t want to share my car’s braking data with the actuaries at State Farm. I don’t want to text with your AI chatbot. I don’t want to download the Instagram app to look at your picture. I don’t want to type in my email address to view the content on your company’s website. I don’t want text messages with promo codes. I don’t want to leave your company a five-star Google review in exchange for the chance to win a $20 Starbucks gift card. I don’t want to join your exclusive community in the metaverse. I don’t want AI to help me write my comments on LinkedIn. I don’t even want to be on LinkedIn in the first place.
I just want to pay for a product one time (and only one time), know that it’s going to work flawlessly, press 0 to speak to an operator if I need help, and otherwise be left alone and treated with some small measure of human dignity, if that’s not too much to ask anymore.
The #DefendTheGuardAct simply put, will not allow the States Guard to be used in overseas wars without a Declaration of War by the US Congress.
Let's force them to uphold the Constitution.
Find your Rep here and ask them to support Defend The Guard https://t.co/M0jAIiaVQ0
The “experts” really pretended like printing trillions in the name of Covid & stopping business for months wouldn’t lead to inflation — and now act “shocked” that its worse than they thought.
Either we are being led by pathological liars or incredibly stupid people.
It’s threatening our own national security, and it’s frankly a slap in the face to millions of taxpayers who are struggling to buy gas, groceries, and find baby formula.
While I sympathize with the people of Ukraine, and commend their fight against Putin, we cannot continue to spend money we don’t have. Passing this bill brings the total we’ve sent to Ukraine to nearly $54 billion over the course of two months.
Good morning to everyone except the evil Democrat and Republican warmongers in Washington DC who have 40 billion to send to Ukraine but won’t help their own suffering citizens.
70% of elected House Republicans in Washington DC voted to send $40,000,000,000 to Ukraine in the middle of record inflation, a border invasion, and a baby formula shortage in America.
Counting last night’s rushed vote, Congress has now spent more money on Ukraine in six months than we spend on all US roads and bridges in a year.
… something to think about the next time you are stuck in traffic or replacing a bent rim.
Congress was spending about $50 billion per year in Afghanistan before it ended.
Congress has spent about $40 billion in Ukraine this year. 🤔
For perspective: all US federal highway and bridge spending adds up to about $50 billion per year.
We went from “2 weeks to slow the spread” to a “Disinformation Governance Board” controlled by the Dept. of Homeland Security in 24 months. #MinistryOfTruth
COVID is to the Multinational Pharmaceutical Industry as Afghanistan was to the Military Industrial Complex.
They have no interest in seeing it end as long as taxpayers are footing the bill.
In the middle of the night, the Dems released a 2,741 page, $1.5 trillion government funding bill. We’re scheduled to vote on it today, around 12 hours later. This is no way to run a country!
GOP’s flirtation back to Graham/Romney/Bush/Cheney foreign policy threatens their chance at retaking Congress in Nov. Unless renounced, politically stupid Republicans are going to start to make Biden and Democrats look good.
I was reading the White House's new COVID plan on the website

There is something better we could do (red)
RT if you agree
It's so bizarre that yesterday Biden was walking alone across the WH lawn wearing a mask and right now he's hugging and back-slapping everyone in Congress maskless
