Today, many children are smiling, while others are missing, hurting, displaced, or forgotten. It is difficult to celebrate fully when the safety and future of innocent children are still uncertain.
I am speechless.
Is Today Truly a Happy Children’s Day?
I tried to understand the way our leaders think. Sometimes, I imagine what the reaction would have been if any child of a senator or someone in the presidency was among the children abducted.
Would the response still be this slow?
Would the silence remain the same?
Would actions not have been taken immediately?
Just thinking out loud. Every child matters, regardless of background, status, tribe, or religion.
And so I ask again… is it truly a Happy Children’s Day?
@ZenithBank@ZenithBank Why are you frustrating Nigerians, first was system upgrading and now it system down for 4 days now keeping people outside the gate like a slave @cenbank#saveUs
@jrnaib2 Boko harm could build on this bigotry and reorient the children to become enemy of the state
Then, what will be your faith or crown of rejoicing?
Lastly, To God be the glory that GOD is not Human
@jrnaib2 I bow my head in tears, the consequences of teaching innocent children bad legacy, how do we unlearn this bigotry
Should we believe, that is the fundamental of the religion or this is just a cultural norm
@PO_GrassRootM In as much, I don’t support Adam Oshiomole claims, However @ruffydfire don’t like this government from day one and his actions speaks volume. I think aa a journalists you prob to seek clarification not debate the point to your view
@jrnaib2 Good People, do not allow circumstances to test your “civilized” culture. Because when the future seems lost, you will understand that all humans are largely the same. What makes us different is the environment &opportunity around us.Please stay safe in England if you are there.
@jrnaib2 This is England. The land which illegally conquered and destroyed empires and kingdoms. But recently, it has been looking for how to hide in its "house", away from the world it ravaged over centuries.
@jrnaib2 There is no reason for protests in England. There is no reason for protests in Nigeria. And More. If the world sees ALL as one people. We have got tons of opportunities. But will the leaders lead with human shared interests?
@jrnaib2 The riots in England are unfortunate because the young men do not understand that everyone is a victim. Yes, the immigrants, the homelands, etc are all victims. All are victims because in a bid for me to win, and you to lose, we destroy everything.
@jrnaib2 The Nigerian government advises its citizens to be cautious, avoid public gatherings, and stay informed about local events in the UK."
All humans are the same. Simply, when people are not sure of their future, even shadows become threats.
@jrnaib2 and disorder in the United Kingdom. This advisory comes in the wake of riots and protests targeting black immigrants and ethnic minorities in the UK. Nigeria is the second country, following Malaysia, to issue such a warning to its citizens.
@jrnaib2 First was to do BREXIT, the current evolution is to attack migrant ethnic minorities.
Get it right as Nigeria has issued a travel advisory to the UK: "The Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel advisory warning its citizens about the increased risk of violence
