زندہ باد لاھور کے عوام جنہوں نے پولنگ سٹیشنوں پر پاکستان کو لوٹ کر بیرون ملک جائدادیں بنانے والے نواز شریف کواس غظیم خاتون کے مقابلے میں تقریبا ایک لاکھ ووٹوں سے شکست دی اوراللہ کی لعنت اور پھٹکار ان لوگوں پر جنہوں نے اس رزلٹ کو فارم 47 میں بدلنے کے لئے ریٹرنگ آفیسر کو تھپڑ مارے اور وہ دل کے عارضے میں ہسپتال جا پہنچا اور اس کی جگہ ایک دوسرے شخص سے فارم 45 پر کاٹ پیٹ کر کے رزلٹ تبدیل کروائے گئے۔
جیل میں اس خاتون کی استقامت نے پاکستان کی عوام کاسر فخر سے بلند کیا ہے اور اس پر ظلم کرنے والوں کا نام رہتی دنیا تک ذلت و رسوائی کے ساتھ تحریر کردیا ہے ۔
ہر کوئی اپنی اولاد کے لئیے ایک نام چھوڑ کر جاتا ہے ۔ کسی کی اولاد کو تحسین ملتی ہے اور کسی کی نسلیں نفرت سے بچنے کے لئیے منہ چھپاتی پھرتی ہیں

عمران اور ہم لوگ کیونکہ کاؤنٹی بھی ساتھ کھیلتے تھے، ہمارا اٹھنا بیٹھنا کھانا پینا چھ مہینے وہاں پر ہوتا تھا ساتھ اور اس کے بعد پاکستان ٹیم میں میں نے کپتانی انہیں دی۔
افسوس ہے، عمران کا اللہ کرے ساری چیزیں سولو ہو جائیں۔

وہ بھی کسی کا بیٹا ہے، میرے تو ذہن میں بہت جلتا ہے کہ وہ بیچارہ بہت کام کر رہا تھا۔
ہم بہت کلوز رہے ہیں۔ کاؤنٹی ساتھ کھیلتے تھے، ہمارا اٹھنا بیٹھنا ساتھ تھا اور ایک دوسرے کو بہت سمجھتے تھے۔
وہ پاکستان کو کہاں سے کہاں لے کے گیا ہے، پھر بھی اس کے ساتھ یہ کرنا۔۔۔۔۔۔، 😞
میرے اندر بہت جذبات ہیں، کیونکہ جو غلط ہے وہ غلط ہے!
کیا فرق پڑ جائے گا؟!؟؟؟ اگر انہیں باہر نکالیں گے تو، مجھے یہی سمجھا دیں۔
پاکستان کھا جائے گا کیا؟؟
دیکھنا چاہیے، سب کو سمجھنا چاہیے، ہم سب پاکستانی ہیں۔
پاکستانی ہونے کے ساتھ آگے جا کے پتہ نہیں کیا ہوگا پھر۔
اللہ کرے مسئلہ حل ہو جائے، ہمارے پاکستان گورنمنٹ کو بھی میں کہ ہی سکتا ہوں، ان کے ساتھی کے طور پر۔ ہم نے ساتھ کھیلا ہے، مجھے پتا ہے عمران کے بارے میں کہ وہ honest آدمی ہے۔
وہ کھانے پینے والا نہیں تھا، ورنہ وہ بہت کچھ کر سکتا تھا۔
اللہ سے بھی دعا یہی ہے کہ یا اللہ۔۔۔۔ ،🤲🏻 جو صحیح ہے وہ صحیح ہے۔
میرے لئے کوئی کام ہو میں کروں گا، بس یہ مسئلہ سولو ہو جائے۔
مجھے رولا دیا آپ نے لیکن یہ باتیں میرے دل سے نکلی ہیں۔

Prime Minister @andyburnham and Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband : how much longer will Britain remain silent?

For three years the father of my two sons, and Pakistan’s former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has been brutally penalised by his political opponents, in a personal vendetta by Army Chief, Asim Munir,  which according to the UN,  amounts to torture and which  is now taking a potentially fatal toll on his physical and mental health. 

He has endured 3 years of solitary confinement. For nearly ten months now his family has been denied contact with him. He has been deprived of the most basic human contact, denied access to books, lawyers and doctors.

The international human-rights standards are unequivocal. Under the UN’s Nelson Mandela Rules, solitary confinement lasting more than 15 consecutive days is prohibited and amounts to torture.

He has endured this treatment not for 15 days, but for three years.

Pakistan’s own Supreme Court has now intervened: ordering comprehensive  medical treatment, access to his personal doctor, regular family visits and twice-weekly calls with his sons.

Yet those orders are being defied.

This is no longer simply a Pakistani political matter. It is a human-rights emergency.

He has deep and lifelong ties to Britain. He studied at Oxford University, captained Oxford University cricket and spent years playing county cricket in England. His relationship with this country stretches back more than half a century. His charitable activities were internationally recognised, and  include building the only free cancer hospital in Pakistan as well as a university.

His sons, my two boys, Sulaiman and Kasim, are British citizens. They have been forced to watch their father’s health decline from thousands of miles away, prevented from visiting him, denied visas, publicly threatened by government officials with arrest themselves, and even denied court-mandated regular phone calls. 

I have repeatedly appealed to the UK government to intervene. Purported attempts at back channelling have evidently failed. The previous Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy informed me in writing that Britain would not  intervene if my sons, British citizens, are arrested when they travel to Pakistan to visit their father. 

@FCDOGovUK: Britain must now speak out publicly and unequivocally. Demand that Pakistan comply with its own Supreme Court;  restore Imran Khan’s medical access, his right to see his family, end his prolonged isolation and uphold his fundamental human rights.

Pakistan is a Commonwealth country. Britain has a long and proud tradition of standing against arbitrary detention, inhumane treatment and the denial of fundamental rights. Those principles mean very little if we invoke them only selectively and neglect them when inconvenient.
This an appeal to the new Burnham government  to please now do the right thing.

Our family has appealed to all party office holders, senior leadership, MNAs, MPAs, and Senators to come to Adiala Jail this Tuesday to build pressure on the government to:

1. Allow immediate access for Imran Khan’s lawyers and family.
2. Transfer Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital for proper medical examination and treatment, in the presence of specialists, his personal doctor, and family.
3. Ensure Chief Justice Dogar takes up the bail applications of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi so they can be released from this illegal imprisonment without delay.

Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are being held in solitary confinement, one of the harshest forms of treatment in violation of Pakistani law and international human rights standards.
