@the_pearl_lover I was part of med mission in Tacloban a week after Yolanda (got assigned in Bethany Hosp w/ Doctors w/o Borders). I saw MR help with the clearing. He even went to the hospital to make sure we have med supplies. That was why I couldn't understand the hate they were given.

The only woman who appears on Ph currency is Josefa Llanes Escoda. She is a war hero. Her body was never found when they searched at Fort Santiago where she was languishing in a cell. Josefa is a staunch pillar of women’s rights & she has every right to be honored in the 1000 php
