All my students are taking the PSAT online this year. They have to register for an account several weeks before the test, and I wasted 10~ minutes of my valuable class time trying to figure out why this one kid couldn't register. It was because he set his sex to "With your mom."

Teaching has taught me that plagiarism is far more common than I ever thought it was when I was a student.

I have my students writing poetry - Shakespearian Sonnets. Some of them have truly blown me away with the use of metaphors and symbols for complex ideas that seem straight out of Hemingway. Others have written poetry about their friend's cock. (Detention ensued)
