Bill Maher just delivered the most clear-eyed, no-bullshit monologue on Israel & antisemitism you’ll hear from any mainstream voice in 2026.

“Israel was founded on the idea that antisemitism made a Jewish state necessary ... Can you honestly listen to this rhetoric and not see why that turned out to be true?”

One of many brutal examples: he called out Columbia professor Hamid Dabashi, who wrote that Jews have “a vulgarity of character that is bone-deep and structural to the skeletal vertebrae of its culture.”

Maher’s reply: “These are the kinds of statements Goebbels would have read and said, ‘No notes.’”

Then he turned to his own party and delivered the kill shot:

“Democrats, where are you? … Until you fix this issue, stop asking me why I’m harder on you.”

Bill Maher is perhaps the one person left in late-night television who still chooses truth over applause.

The rest are just cowards with good lighting.

This chart puts the datacenter demands into perspective very clearly. Amazon has done more capex in the last 3 years than its entire history.

Right now most AI adoption is on chat tools that are relatively token efficient. Comparatively, coding agents, use orders of magnitude more tokens, but are only used by a small population today.

These same kind of consumption patterns are about to come for the rest of knowledge work as well. The demand to process tokens for agents is probably 100s of times greater than we’re realizing right now.

I just got off the phone with someone who works in defense policy in Washington. What they told me should end every "Trump is reckless" argument permanently.

"Every single president since Clinton received the same intelligence briefing on Iran's nuclear timeline. Every single one was told the window was closing. Every single one chose to kick it down the road because the political cost of acting was higher than the political cost of waiting."

He chose to act knowing NATO allies would refuse to help.

He chose to act knowing gas prices would spike.

Read that again.
