@aalexradu@gtasix_ Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. Red Dead is one franchise, GTA is another. I don't think most people would like being able to carry only 2 weapons on foot. It should be AT LEAST like GTA IV and previous games, where we can carry 1 weapon from each category.
Women: “We don’t need men.”
Military — 95% men
Firefighters — 97% men
Coal miners — 95% men
Truck drivers — 90% men
Construction workers — 92% men
Oil rig workers — 96% men
Surgeons — 82% men
Engineers — 89% men
"The world runs because of men."
Okay, let's finish the list.
Teachers — 76% women
Nurses — 88% women
Social workers — 83% women
Child care workers — 94% women
Elder care workers — 80%+ women
Administrative & clerical staff — 72% women
Medical & health services managers — majority women
The care economy that raises children, educates society, cares for the sick, and looks after the elderly is overwhelmingly female.
Still not done.
Prison population — 96% men
Sex offenders in prison — 98.5% men
Sexual offense prosecutions — 98% men
Domestic homicide perpetrators — 90% men
Violent crime offenders — 85%+ men
So if we're going to credit men for everything society builds, we should also acknowledge who commits most of the violence that society has to deal with.
And while we're at it:
Childbirths — 0% men.
Every man who has ever existed got here because of a woman.
Militarys exist largely because humans wage wars — and historically, wars have overwhelmingly been started and fought by men.
Nobody said men are unnecessary.
People said misogyny is unnecessary.
There's a difference.
Many of the industries used as examples of male dominance were fields women were historically barred from entering. Women were excluded from combat roles, denied access to engineering schools, shut out of trade unions, fired for pregnancy, and legally prevented from entering entire professions.
You don't get extra credit for dominating spaces where others weren't allowed to compete.
The reality is simple:
Society isn't built by men alone.
Society isn't built by women alone.
It functions because both contribute but often in different ways, often in ways that go unnoticed.
@KrakenSlayer231@lysukoo Several missions in GTA V feature vehicles with scripted paths and pre-defined destruction or explosions.
Examples of missions: Franklin and Lamar, Father/Son, Chop, Legal Trouble, and a few others...
@lysukoo We'll almost certainly see something like this in Freemode, and the cars will have that physics, but this specific clip really looks like a mission featuring cars with scripted paths.
@DiscussingFilm@NotPaloIntel It looks great, and I believe something like this could happen at any time in Freemode. But this specific part makes it seem like all the police vehicles are scripted, with predetermined routes specifically designed for a mission.
@cutiesav4@Thabiggest5ive2@frizkedblizz I don't like this mechanic where we can only carry 2–3 weapons on foot. I hope it's AT LEAST like GTA IV and previous games, where you could carry 1 weapon from each category. And I hope they don't have that bullshit where weapons get dirty and we have to keep cleaning them.
@IGN The game looks great overall, but the weapon wheel, Jesus Christ... I mean, it's not terrible, but it could definitely be much better. It looks more like a "weapon square" than a "weapon wheel."
@RockstarGames@TGGonYT See how cool this is, Rockstar? Could you go back to having normal human interaction with the community, like you used to?
It was nice when you guys actually replied to players' comments and did GTA Online livestreams...
@setembrao Quando você entra em algum interior no GTA V (como casa segura), os pilotos dos aviões desaparecem, por isso que dá pra ouvir barulho de explosões de longe.
Provavelmente você estava na casa do Michael e o avião caiu bem perto dela
@GTASeries Good week, I love the Unknown Unknowns Races.
And Auto Shop Contracts are one of the few businesses I genuinely find fun. They're quick to complete, and the finales are basically like mini Heists.
I just wish we had at least one Adversary Mode returning.
